Nationwide FlexDirect £200 switch bonus (Oct 2022)

Hi all,

My switch to Nationwide completed yesterday from First Direct meeting the criteria. I've not yet had the reward but am a little concerned maybe I wont. Yesterday I got an email from Plum (one of my two active DD's) to say the DD had been cancelled on my old account. Does this mean it didnt transfer over and therefore I won't be eligable? Any help appreciated.

Is the DD showing on your NW account? I had another two account transfers completed today. The DDs have been showing in both the original donor accounts and the NW accounts they are being transferred to for a week before the switch date.

Thanks, I've just checked and 2 DDs are showing in my NW account so hopefully this is okay? I wasn't sure if Plum automatically switches to the new account. Congrats on your account transfers, I'd love to have multiple going at the same time but I'm still learning how to do one!

Hi all, I want to get this switch before it finishes (who knows when) and then try HSBC. I set up 3 direct debits, 2 are showing in my account but they say £0, do you think this will still count?

My switch completed on Friday.  No bonus yet but it can take up to 10 days apparently

Yes I switched Friday and haven’t received anything either.

It's the account switching service that transfer them, so the existing arrangements get set up on the new account, and the identical direct debits on the old account are deleted.

As long as your DDs are live you should still get the bonus

Live as in showing in the app/ not old ?

Has anyone whos switch happened Friday received their £200 yet? I know my brother-in-laws showed by 4.30 Friday when his completed Thursday. From previous posts people commented on receiving it on Tuesday for a Friday switch.
I know it can take 10 days, but am just asking as neither myself or my sister has had yet.
