  • Has anyone whos switch happened Friday received their £200 yet? I know my brother-in-laws showed by 4.30 Friday when his completed Thursday. From previous posts people commented on receiving it on Tuesday for a Friday switch.
I know it can take 10 days, but am just asking as neither myself or my sister has had yet.
I completed switch Friday and haven’t yet either. I’m glad it’s not just me as was worried I wasn’t going to get it as that’s just my luck lol. Have you had a text to confirm you will get it? I haven’t. Last contact I had was……. Good news. We've completed your Current Account Switch and sent you a letter with full details. Your old account is now closed and any balance has been transferred to your Nationwide account. Thanks for banking with us. FSW(switch number was here)

Did you get yours in the end as I know you was waiting after 10 days?
  • No text but it would seem that people get these after having received the £200 as that is what happened with my brother-in-law.

For the Nationwide switch bonus, do annual direct debits qualify, or do they need to be monthly?

If the DD are showing in the current account I have (but no payment has been taken), will I still qualify?

What makes a direct debit live?

I can assure you that's not the case. I've had the text, not the dosh.

Hi all, I want to get this switch before it finishes (who knows when) and then try HSBC. I set up 3 direct debits, 2 are showing in my account but they say £0, do you think this will still count?

As long as your DDs are live you should still get the bonus
Live as in showing in the app/ not old :)
A DD can be live even if no money is coming out, as far as I can tell through conversations with bank and DD people,

I had one with a B bank Credit card that I had but was not using and it counted in a switch I made.
