    Morning All,

LATTL Sorry you're struggling and I hope you enjoy your time away

Brambling Well done for a STS, with everything you've had going on that's an amazing achievement

SSue At least there was a bonus to rubbish food at the hotel 😆 Well done for the STS

This week has been a real battle to stay on track but, apart from slightly (okay, a lot) too much wine, I've kept it under control and distracted myself with housework so I'm ridiculously happy with a 4lb loss and a much cleaner house 😁

    Best of luck everyone xx

STS.  It seems that no alcohol and no/low carbs doesn't work that well for me.  Or maybe it was the fact that I discovered the local butcher near where I was staying in Canada did stonkingly good back bacon.  The canuck stuff is in a league of it's own and I confess I did have a substantial amount.  So I'll just have to behave better now that I'm back home.

    Well done Izadora, that's brilliant!

And also well done on the STS Sue & Brie :)

I'm also STS - not an ounce in either direction, which is frustrating but I suppose it could be worse  :D

      Yes!  Home, sweet home!!!

And fattening.  I'd forgotten so quickly how potato dependent our meals are.  So in 2 weeks, between 2 and 5 of us in a house at any time and we went through 1 loaf of bread.  We also had some baked potatoes.  Can't add up all the carbs I've had since getting back.

And I'm reminded how cabbage obsessed 2 of my bros are.  One has all his life wanted coleslaw of some sort for dinner.  Hand chopped, with added carrot, onion, any other root veg, with vinegrette, mayo, caesar, any dressing.  And we're talking about a guy who will single handedly eat a cabbage in 2 - 3 days.

Add bros 2 who is a more recent cabbage convert and is happy to get into the coleslaw but who's major thing is cabbage for breakfast.  (yes, breakfast, not a typo).  So hand chopped cabbage, add walnuts, craisins, cranberries, yoghurt.  And breakfast is served.  Admittedly he's an alpha type for whom 20k steps is a slow day and gets cranky when he misses his 50 mile bike rides and yoga sessions.  Not bad for 70.  He's currently cycling down the west coast of the US.  And in case that make your bottom clench in fear slightly he is using what is known as butt butter to take care of any chaffing.  I kept telling him I didn't want to know.  And yes, unlike me, he's a stick insect.

But I'm back and I've got to learn to be good.  Starting tomorrow.  Or Thursday.  I'm not looking at the cakes we have and hope the OH will eat them before I lose my will. (funeral party, over purchased as you do when family's coming, and it will all go or be chucked.)

STS for me - there is a small loss but not close enough to half a pound, so not the end of the world!
