Brambling It's Lydia's red wedding dress from Beetlejuice. If the worst comes to the worst I'll just have to leave my coat on to hide the fact that it's not done up at the back 🤣
Van_Girl Taking tomorrow's reading is probably sensible. I'm ever hopeful that next week will show as a good loss just because I'm not full of takeaway 😁

No scales for me.
Izadora - Thank you, kebab and plonk put on hold until later in the week / month.
Van_girl and Brambling, don't blame you for not getting on the scales, too many times have I got on them to think "Oh what's the point" and given up.
Medication is really making me feel ill. I don't know about anyone else but although everything I take or am supposed to take is meant to be safe, it does make me feel ill, medication and I don't mix, I feel like I've had 20 pints then got in the ring for a few rounds with Tyson. In addition, I've had antibiotics for an infection, last day of them today, so hoping things will pick-up later in the week.
On a better note, beans swop for lentils in the chilli was a success and will continue.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

@Brambling
I'm down .5 as of last Thursday before I left the house for Heathrow. There's more than one set of scales here so I may try weighing myself and see how I'm going but may not clock in before I return to the UK so as not to confuse anything. We shall see.

Good evening all 🙂
Here to report a first week loss of 9.7lbs
I've told myself that I shouldn't reward myself with a treat (foodwise) when I have a loss otherwise I'll just end up piling the weight back on again and very quickly. I purchased some new size 18 jeans instead and happy to say that they fit so I've dropped a trouser size 💃🏽
Just a reminder, don't always focus on the number on the scales, be sure to take measurements too 👌🏽
Good luck and congrats to all losers, sts and gainers. Let's go 🙂Common sense is not common
Small progress is still progress

take care of yourself. For me it's the side effects from antibiotics Iuckily I don't need them very often and chest infections caused by my asthma seem to have disappeared in recent years

1 lbs loss for me! So I'm back where I started
But I do have a full month now to get my head into it before I have a birthday party, which will probably throw it all out again haha
