Mine is coming today. A new toy to play with! Sounds complicated to set up but can't wait to give it a try.

Be great if you could post back here when you've got it set up and let us know if you had (or still have) any problems. That way, we can build up a pool of knowledge to share with other forumites as these gradually roll out. Thanks, Mike
I've now got the mini and set it up as per the enclosed instruction sheet. Took a while to get the blue light which started off pink so needed a bit of patience. Once the blue light appeared, the rest worked perfectly. Electricity showing very quickly, gas not yet. My only problem is where to put it. Could do with a hook on it so that I can hang it on the wall.
If you look in the box, they provide some double-sided tape so you can stick it where it doesn’t show.
Oh yes. Thanks for that. It was well hidden. That's perfect.

If you think I'm sticking a cut-down IHD there, you've got another thing coming!

Response from Octopus is just to do a complete reset and try again. Will try that right next to the meter, ie outdoors.

My mini is just dangling from the socket, not very far though as the cable is still tied up short.

Mine was working perfectly for a couple of weeks, then one morning lost connection with my smart meter one morning and when I moved it and got it reconnected I could see data from 'Last 5/30 Minutes' ok, but since then I've never been able to see any recent data in the Day tab any more (I'm sure I had this originally).

I was going to use a bit of double sided sticky to fix the Mini to the power adapter. Use a very short USB cable and that would sit quite neatly.

Still no go after going through the process with the Mini within a foot of the comms hub. I'll see what Octopus say, but I suspect that's it.

The meter is Aclara SGM1411-B. Edit new photo showing comms hub. Crappy phone photo but I think it's readable ...
