I think ther months ago I posted the fact I got a fine at eurocar parks.
I ALWAYS pay for my tickets. What happened this time
Is this thread about that incident, or a separate one?  If the latter, what happened to the former one?

Back to this one, read the following thread, then come back with any unanswered questions, if you think your case is different.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Just ignore it all.

No need to start new threads please.

If you already have a thread on this case, just reply on it if you ever need to know something - but in fact nothing has changed about our advice:

    YOU ARE IGNORING EVERYTHING.

    DO NOT RESPOND.

DO NOT ADMIT OWING 'SOME OF THE DEBT'!

See the CST Law letters group thread.  These letters are done to death there!  No-one takes these daft letters seriously.

But whilst you are IGNORING these letters and laughing at them like everyone else, please read this link and bookmark the necessary thread so you come back in July/August:

Your revenge against the is silly threatogram harassment is to respond to the Government's Public Consultation in August, to:

    - minimise the level of parking charges

    - remove the unjustified £130/£80 increased level that the Government had pointlessly and blindly copied from the Local Authority penalty regime (which is completely different to contract law)

    and

    - INSIST ON A BAN OF FALSE ADDED 'FEES'.

you should continue on that one rather than start a new one as it could lead to confusion.
Hi, yes, it is that one. No new fine. Sorry, I do not use this forum a lot so it is new for me. I will copy and paste info from here to there. Thanks for your help

Just send an e-mail to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and ask them to merge the two threads for you - overall that's cleaner.

    Hi guys,

I think ther months ago I posted the fact I got a fine at eurocar parks.
I ALWAYS pay for my tickets. What happened this time is that I pay for 2 hours and by error I ended up overstaying by 20 minutes.

Eurocarparks send the fine notice to my old address as I didnt change the V5c document to my new address when I bough yhe house, so my first notification was from a law company. I have been reviewing your posts and what I did was asked pictures and data that eurocarparks had about me and they sent those over. Over the course of the months I have been receiving letters and have been ignoring them as the advise in here states. However, I just received a letter stating that I am going to be taken to court. The letter is from CST law and the tittle of the letter is called letter before claim. In this letter, there is a reply form that states, whether I agree thatowe the debt or some of it, whether I will pay now or later, whether I need debt advice etc.

At this point, I just want to fight the injustice, specially in this cost of living crisis. I have always used eurocapartks and always pay for tickets but 170 pounds for overstaying mistakenly for 20 minutes, is a con. Can anyone please offer advice?

I am thinking of stating that I owe some of the debt but not all of it and explain the reasoning for this. Help please!!

Admit nothing, and do not use their forms, except for lining the parrot cage or similar. The newbies tells you exactly how to respond to a 'letter of claim'

Did you read the CST Law letters group thread and learned that no court claim will follow?

    As I advised earlier:

    Just ignore it all.

    DO NOT RESPOND.

DO NOT ADMIT OWING 'SOME OF THE DEBT'!

    Hi, sorry
I have read the thread but it is somehow confusing. There are posts that states that if you receive the letter before claim, it is likely that the claim will go to court. It also states that I should ask for SAR and also send an email amd copy pasting the points - cannot copy paste as I am on a phone. It also states not to ignore at this stage hence my confusion

What am I doing? Thaanks for the help!
