  • Hi Again

Welcome French Maid and TattyCath this forum is very addictive and it's so nice to know that other people bake thier own bread!

AUSSIE sorry to hear of your loss, hugs to you

Have managed to get most of the food I want for Xmas, was quite proud of myself for spending far less money than I normally do. Still have £150 left. I do get irrate at Asda, they seem to shorten all thier use by dates  . Just have to get veg, pork, beef, turkey and cream. Shall use the farm shop, butchers and the local co-op for this. Can't face the thought of anymore supermarkets. Have prepared stuffing and pigs in blankets and they are in the freezer. Just some baking to do now.

    Catch you later :A xxxxx

Hi everyone. Thank you all for such a warm welcome!! I'm touched.

Please someone can you send me some organisation over the internet??? Kitchen looks like a bomb has dropped, lounge-same, in fact at the moment everywhere I look I see disarray!!!!!

its freezing here -5 and thereabout just now, walked the boys to school and kyle and i are just home from their nativity play, a modern take on it, both boys were very good

non stop feeding the birds today and all the cats inside though the old cat was in the greenhouse for a while, he is a hardy lad

if its still as frosty tomorrow which is likely i will take the bus to work no point defrosting the car for a distance of two miles there although the return fare will be over three pounds which i grudge, more folk would use the bus if it was a bit cheaper

aussie i am still here, hope dh is okay now, sorry to hear about your relative

  • Hi All
Pen Pen, I work for a school in Reading, I better not put the name after all I've said about it. We aren't unusual in having overseas trained teachers, my lodger came over in a batch of 25 from Jamaica & they are spread all over the country.
It's very busy at work as people are now rushing to get things done before the end of term. As soon as I've cooked tea, I shall put my feed up.
    Have a good evening everyone
    Hugs Hester
