Welcome to methekids...I'm afraid some of us do bite, but you'll find out for yourself no doubt!

GB...I think I would be around an hour and a half from Bettystown...meeting good idea...would you believe cake hasn't been eaten yet and continues to improve aromawise...will advise on taste.

My grandchildren have all been taught to say thank you when given a present...not a big deal really as they were always taught to say please and thank you and reminded when they forgot...is there another way to treat children?? There is always a book in any present I buy them for Christmas and they love to read, only 6year old reading so far, and be read to

    Night all

meanmarie, it sounds as though someone has someone upset you? I hope not.
    CM, I hope you're ok.
mrs mix, I hope dh and the others involved in the accident are all ok.
Aussie, I was sorry to hear your news, but I'm glad you had the chance to say your goodbyes.
Welcome to Frenchmaid, tattycath and methekidsandthecat.

I'm sorry there is so much that I've missed...I am in a complete panic over Christmas and everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, but I won't bore you with the details.

I spent today shopping and got some bits and pieces and tonight was wrapping and decorating the bargain tree. After much deliberating, I opted for an artificial one this year and it was priced at £99.99, but they'd reduced it to £54.99...had a look online and found it reduced to £14.99. Went to the shop and they denied all knowledge of the lower price. Apparently it was a mis-price.......but eventually they decided to honour it! :j

So I have got a super duper tree for £14.99. :D

Tomorrow is Adam's 14th birthday.....so just finishing off the present wrapping and off to bed.

    Sleep well everyone,

    Pink
