(((Hugs))) to Mrs Mix and Aussielass.

Hoping DD is turning a corner this morning as she has requested breakfast. I really need to go out later I realised that I've not bought my sis her birthday present and its tomorrow !!

I'm going to give the house a good tidy today and hopefully finish the ironing but much depends on whether dd wants to spend the day sat on me

    Have a good day everyone

Pam - That's awful. Maybe the outcome won't be as bad as first thought. Keep your chin up and let us know how it goes. ((hugs))

    tattycath Welcome to OS.

Haribo Ooops :o You tell her Auntie Aussie loves donkeys. I know a few old donkey's around the place. Which reminds me has anyone seen Churchmouse & Twink lately? :D
Pipkin Hope you've gotten relief by now.

Thanks for all your well wishes. I said my goodbye to her when I left in July. It was hard as I knew I'd never seen her again.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning all,

Congrats on the house Haribo, looks lovely...kit or no kit I would make a mess of it...not my scene ( not sure what is really!)

Aussie...sorry to hear of your loss.

Pipkin...hope that the painkillers have kicked in.

Mrs Mix...I think that they automatically send ambulance once an accident call comes in, so try not to worry.

Mioliere.....still hoovering up the bits that OH seemed to get all over the house when putting up the Christmas tree on Saturday...there are still dead fairy lights on a couch and on floor...will have to give him a dig later on to get that cleared ( don't dare until he has read the paper cover to cover!)

Porch is hardly navigable at present...it is small but must tidy, clean windows and floor today, put down clean mats...cot still has to be taken down in DD2's room and beds made in spare rooms.

Stir fry for dinner later...not sure that I have good mix of veg colour wise, but I think that what I have will do....not going to a shop today.

Hugs to all in pain of any kind...hope that you feel better to-day PenPin...you too Taplady...he'll be back so often you won't really know that he's gone! When DS1 left home he went to work in Japan and wasn't home for a whole year...and that was before email was so available.

    Have a good day

  • Hello,
fairly new here still but what a great forum!

On a mission to pay off credit card and then tackle the mortgage (ouch)!

Took the public transport into the work which made a 30 minute car journey into a 2 hour ordeal with bus, train and walking. Oh well, dh really needed the car today - that's life when you decide that one car should be enough.

Am dead excited because my slowcooker is arriving today! I am a veggie but I thought that it might be useful and I have a thing for kitchen gadgets.....

Better of now and do some work!

Just popped back on to send (((hugs))) to MRS MIX's DH, AUSSIELASS and REDRUBY'S DD.

Welcome to JORDY - don't think we've met, and welcome, also, to TATTYCATH.

Well, that's great, isn't? Took nearly all day yesterday to set this new fax/copier etc thing up and I couldn't get the fax to work so I had to go back out and spend a whole £1 on faxing (!) at the local bureau! That is not very OS!

Anyway, I have loads to do so, why did I come back on here?

I'm definitely going now - will call back in when I have ticked at least seven things of my 'to-do' list!

    See ya.

    Morning all,

Well, as anticipated, after making my list of 20+ things to do last night, I got a phone call asking me to come in to work :). But now I am panicking about how much I really have to do before Saturday (we have guests). I haven't even finished the Christmas shopping yet and it doesn't look like I'll have time to see my parents before the big event either.

So this morning I have had a shower, wrapped up a birthday present for someone and am, just about to do the washing up.
NO idea whats for dinner and am going to work in unironed clothes because I just haven't had the time.

    Have a good one
