Good morning everyone,
Cold here today as well, but still planning to walk to school - i want to save petrol if i can - filled the car up on Saturday, and dont want to have to put anymore in this year!!
One LO here today, and at the moment he is having a lovely time playing in the big Baloo box - easy work for me today, give them a box and it keeps them amused for hours!!! (especially a box this big!!!)
Will be doing some cleaning, but not sure what else - maybe make a chicken curry for dinner, will make DD happy, its her favourite.
Hope everyone is well, ((HUGS)) to all who are feeling poorly (scuzz, keep drinking the water, hopefully it will clear up quickly x) and anyone who would like one xxx
Have a great day, Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
:santa2: :santa2: Morning!
Jannyannie - thanks am not too bad, just finding it hard not to check up on him all the time - am an overprotective mother I think! My youngest DS once told me he would never leave home - he would stop and babysit for us!:D
Ellie and chalky:hello: :hello:

Hope you are all well

Hello everyone, I've not contributed for ages. For the first day in ages I feel as though my time is my own.
Bread made overnight and sandwiches packed for lunches this morning.
I made royal icing for the first time last night as I had an egg white left from my mince pie baking. It was much easier than I thought and I was very pleased with it, and wondered why I'd already bought ready made? I'll have to see how it is after it's been in the ridge for a while.
I have some things to get rid of on freecycle, and a load to list on eBay.
I moved house last week and still have boxes and bags all over the place to empty. I wouldn't recommend moving this close to Christmas. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0 -
Morning everyone :hello:

Churchie...You are MIA.
Hope you're ok PenPin. That low blood count is really serious.
Another busy day here and unfortunately I feel a bit rubbish. I have to be at the school in a bit for nativity rehearsals, then take Dtwin2 to the doctor and run lots of errands in the town. Will try to fit in some ironing and sweet making too.
This is the Gingerbread House before and after.Really easy to make and I might do another one before Christmas just for a decoration as it was fun to do.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone
Tired this morning, looking forward to the week being over. Still recovering from Saturday when I noticed the barmaid mixing blackcurrant juice with lemonade and thought it would be a good idea to have everyone try Snakebites. Dear oh dear, won't be doing that for a while again!
I made Twink's Hobnobs last night for the first time. Everytime I tried making them before, bf would say "Can't I just have flapjacks?" and I always gave in. But he prefers the Hobnobs! I knew he would. They are quite delicious though and one batch makes quite a lot. Wahey! Gonna become a staple in our house, me thinks!
Didn't make any bread for sarnies this week, as I saw bf picking up Tesco Value bread yesteday (we had that Martin Lewis programme about Christmas parties recorded on Sky+ and had just finished watching it) and I was so proud, that I just let him buy it!
PP - Mmm, champers and salmon. I think I might have that for breakie on Xmas Day, sounds luverly!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Morning all:santa2:
Just a quick one this morning, as I'm in a bit of pain today. I've had some painkillers, so hopefully it will ease.
It's freezing here, but warm and cosy with the heat on.
I want to try and book an asda slot for Friday if I can, as I don't fancy actually going to the store, so will do that today.
BM is on dough setting so I can make some baguettes for the girls later, as they enjoy those. Have got to 70% wholemeal and 30% white. DD1 has noticed now but she likes them. I've strict instructions not to add any more wholemeal though:rolleyes:
Have a good day all

Pipkin xxxxI cannot stress to you how easy it was. I bought a kit due to time contraints so just had to stick the walls and roof together with cocktail sticks. The kit came with the little figures and the windows and door and I added the icing and sweets. One for the cake, 2 for Haribo....you get the picture. But it looked amazing for so little effort and all the children loved it.
