    Fantastic news about vanquishing the card debt @alt80. Well done! You should be feeling really proud of yourself for that - another positive achievement. I loved the feeling of getting paid each month & not instantly having to via a load of money off to paying debts & I'm sure you will too.

    Very well done Alt - its both a huge milestone to be debt free and not that big a deal both at the same time.  What was the big deal was turning yourself around to give you positive velocity towards the target.  Now its in the rear view mirror you have choices about what you do with your financial momentum - doesn't have to all go to savings or pensions, some of it can go for fun, but maybe not all of it
