Have you tried the online buying sites, such as webuyanycar, cazoo, motorway etc.?
I want more than a few quid for it.

They will be giving you pretty honest valuations, not your pie in the sky hopeful price.

You won't get retail prices trading it or selling it privately. You're going to take a loss if this car exists.

Time for the custard test to prove you're not a troll.

Blimey some random threads there, particularly liked the "why does everyone else in the world have a different face" one!
Haha, yeah sounds like a right weapon!
But it is you though, I mean that DanS1 wants to work in an office and was taking an admin apprenticeship too.

How did the clubbing with your dad go, find yourself a nice lady?
    It's not me.

Can we get back on topic please. What do people think of my idea of putting the car on Gumtree?
But that DanS1 was trying to get a job at a dentist. His aunt was the practice manager there, same as your thread.

Just admit it's you, you've been busted.
He was busted at the beginning of this thread, not sure why it's lasted this long.

Just got in , can’t believe this thread is still going.  Is this the return of dark matter ?

Don't think so, just a Yaris red herring.

You got so deep into this because you didn't do the proper research when buying the car, and now you are doing just the same when selling it.

I think you should trade it for an electric car, you can get really long extension cables should you have to park it down the road.

Have you bought a car, as in paid £4k in full and drove the car away?

OR, have you bought a car, as in visited the dealer, paid a £100 deposit and due to pay the balance and collect in a few days?

OR, have you bought a car, as in online / remote phone purchase and due to pay balance and collect in a few days?

Exactly what "bought a car" means will depend on the opportunities to cancel that you have.

My dad is taking me out tomorrow night clubbing, o on the hope of getting a girlfriend (or bird hunting, as he calls it). I'm a bit new to this as I've never had a girlfriend before and my dad is determined to change this for me. I don't even really want to go, but my dad says I've got to come out of my comfort zone, and at 27 it's about time I 'had a bird'.. What tips would you offer in terms of approaching a girl and chat up lines? I've never really been clubbing either so any tips there would be good.

I'm going to wear my blue checked shirt (not tucked in!) and jeans. Was going to wear trainers but dad has advised me against this. He said to wear black shoes to make me look older.DanS1 said:

There were a few but a little old for me. Seemed more interested in my dad (just don't tell his wife!). I was kinda hoping one of them would offer to introduce me to their granddaughter or someone. Nightclubs are far too loud and boisterous for me. Toilets are filthy too. Can't even get a decent glass of lemonade in some of them. No, I had a good evening tonight. It wasn't exactly raving, but I did enjoy a good game of bingo.

Ok, I am the same person. But what's the issue if I am?
