  • Gladstone are not attending they’ve already said so I think he’s frightened he will make a fool of himself in court because they have already said he’s used generic defence  from the internet and says it’s doubtful he will understand all the complexities of the civil procedure law.
  • We have received their witness statement and obviously a lot of legal jargon in it , but I have found a discrepancy on one of the photos they have used .. it’s not the same notice as the one captured on the cctv photos .. it’s similar but definitely not the same,

  • So if he paid it all now or went to court he would probably pay less by going to court?

This needs to be addressed in the hearing, especially if it helps the defendant!  Claimants do tend to use generic photos rather than those in situ at the time.

See what @Coupon-mad wrote above, you/he pays less even if losing in court as the judge will likely knock off the spurious "debt management" or "admin" fees.

Gladstones are sending a legal rep.

    THE DEFENDANT MUST ATTEND.

He will not make a fool of himself and the Judge won't let the rep say rude things.

You realise (surely...think about how intimidating 'roboclaims' work!) that letter accusing him of "copying a template"...is a template everyone gets?!  Stop falling for it.

Oh well, that's a shame - but at least the Judge removed the false £70 as abusive and disproportionate.

He was obviously almost certain to lose the case by not turning up, so it was his decision to pay a 3 figure sum and lose, rather than follow our advice to the end, i.e. attend and probably win.

Come back and join us shortly for the final Government Public Consultation.  You and your son!

Be aware that a vital private parking law Public Consultation is coming very soon, asking consumers about the levels of parking charges and banning rip-off 'fees'.

    Explained here:

Don't miss it!  Get your revenge and stop inflated court claims like this from happening in future.

Bookmark the necessary thread as shown there and set email alerts.

We need EVERY VICTIM to take part and answer the questions (anticipated in March according to something I saw from the BPA).

It's the only favour we ask - but I'm sure you and your family will want your voices heard by the Government.

  • i think he was just nervous of going to court to be honest, even though I assured him it wouldn’t be in a large court room with loads of people. But thank you for all your help.

I have received an email from Gladstone now, they are trying to chase me for two parking charges from 2018 in the same shopping park, for not displaying a disabled badge. My son lives in independent living and loads of carers use his car to ferry him about but I am the registered keeper. I will be going to court!
