A reminder again the rubbish the BPA print, all designed to confuse government as they did in 2012
https://www.britishparking-media.co.uk/news/motorists-agree-with-the-bpa-dont-cut-pcns
I requested via email to see the questions asked in the survey and the breakdown of answers per region from BPA, but they refused to provide any information on their magical survey. I can only assume their 'survey' was entirely made up in a feeble attempt to say the British public enjoy being terrorised by PPCs.
Because they refused, really does suggest they have been spouting rubbish again
This bunch are not an Association that government trusted in 2012
How could anyone trust the BPA when they are crammed full OF money scammers
Government should set up an enquiry into the BPA AND THEIR SCAMMERS
With the poor conduct of parking companies and their timewasting legals, just how many people simply pay money they do not owe and how many get CCJ's ?
Those who pay out of fear must run into 1000's . It is a different form of the current Post Office scandal where mafia style tactics are being used
Call it the WONGA brigade if you like
Don't fall asleep again Government0 -

I have suggested you pm @troublemaker22 who might be able to help you sort this out in time.DCB haven’t sent me anything so I guess they’ve also not submitted their evidence file across to me the same way I haven’t sent mine.Messaged @troublemaker22 so hoping I can get some assistance with it quite soon so I don’t have this looming over me at the worst possible time.Thank you @Coupon-mad, your posts have helped hugely!TeeJay27 sent you a message
"Case discontinued- Called the courts today and confirmed. DCB legal didn’t bother to notify me nor pay the hearing fee.
Cannot believe that shambolic companies like them that claim they’re a ‘legal’ agency, waste Court time like this.
Thanks for your help and the work you put in to this forum like many others.
If it wasn’t for everyone’s posts and guidance, people will pay up the £100’s they demand!"
Discontinuance number:239Thank you very much @Coupon-mad for updating. Hopefully this gets the thread back on track - simply recording actual cases of DCB Legal discontinuations rather than random observations.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

In a mirror image scenario to TeeJay27's case, @MVizz also had to phone the local court this morning, only to find UKPC/DCB Legal had discontinued without telling them.
MVizz got DCB in a tizz!

@anotheronewasted lived up to their username as they 'wasted' DCBLegal, forcing them to chuck the useless claim in the bin.

Has anyone researched the possibility of requesting the Attorney General to seek a "vexatious litigant" order against DCB Legal under Section 42 of the Senior Courts Act 1981?
These orders are usually aimed at litigants in person, but the language seems broad enough to catch a law firm that issues claims on an industrial scale in order to harvest default judgments, but with no intention to proceed in cases that are defended, thus wasting the time of both courts and defendants and causing unnecessary anguish to defendants. An aggravating factor is that the individual POCs are invariably in breach of the CPR and liable to be struck out as an abuse of the court's process.
