Really relevant because the reason there are delays in the work of the county court is because up to a THIRD of all small claims are poxy private parking.

All victims of parking court claims, discontinuances after months of time wasting, or those with actual CCJ paperwork, will be great evidence.  As will accounts of how difficult the system makes it for Defendants and how inadequate and wholly inappropriate the PAP for Debt Claims is to dodgy 'fines' that Judges dismiss routinely for those Defendants robust enough to defend.

This is about telling the Justice Committee that:

1.  there should be a bespoke 'private parking protocol' to resolve cases without court,  and 

2.  the Single Appeals service should act as a 'court buffer' CTSI certified ADR.

I think if enough people say the above, the Justice Committee will go and talk to the DLUHC guys I'm dealing with, and hopefully recommend a new pre-action protocol.  

Desperately needed and it would also solve the court delays within weeks.

No Discontinuance number on the N279 form they sent.   Just checked online and nothing showing since 30th August 2023 where

the case was transferred to a different court.

Is that normal?

Once it's allocated to your local court, the involvement of the CNBC (formerly CCBC) ends and there is no further update to your MCOL history. Have we already counted your discontinuation here?

Is there a way to check online once it's transferred to the local court?  They probably want to print that off and frame it.

When I sent them the discontinuation email you would have thought they won the lottery they were very happy.

Not online to my knowledge. You could phone the local court and ask if they will confirm in writing.  But I'm not confident they will.

Another one from a FB group in which I assist. A driver leaving site case that originated in 2018 and got dredged up by this disreputable pair of UKPC and their pals DCB Legal. Case was listed for 22/12/23 but on checking if the trial fee had been paid the Defendant discovered that the deadly duo had discontined in late October, but didn't bother to tell them! Just as well I hadn't written the WS...
