Yes, there was no problem getting PACs from Ovivo.Lad said:grandadgolfer said:Companies have tried similar things in the past.....Ovivo mobile were the last to try it before going under
Do you know if people were able to get a PAC code so as not to lose their number?====1 -
Thanks. As someone else said, hope they last if they carry on with this kind of tarrff.

I've just sent for an RWG Mobile SIM card and my account details suggest that I might be roughly their three thousandth customer. How many of them are getting free calls and never paying anything much I don't know but we can only hope they get enough income from Now Mobile (of which they are part) to continue going with their service0

I hope they continue,as i was the first to mention them on here,if i remember correctly3

It's one of the reasons I went on the (as it was then) £1 a month sim. If they got a small amount of income from each sim it would hopefully put them in a better place financially. It's a bargain now as it gets the higher 750MB allowance.Murmansk said:I've just sent for an RWG Mobile SIM card and my account details suggest that I might be roughly their three thousandth customer. I got the SIM where you pay £15 as a one-off payment and get a free amount of data, texts and calls each month. I was interested to find that it wouldn't let me make any calls unless I topped up - which I did by £10. It then let me make calls and I could see my £10 balance going down each time.
I'd expected that calls and texts would be free and that the original £15 I paid for the SIM would be the balance from which payments would be taken if I went over the free allowance of calls etc.
Have I misunderstood this, what are other peoples experiences. I find it all a bit opaque at this stage.0 -
Did you text ukrwg1 to 669 to activate bundle?0

No, but that kind of makes sense now you mention it. Actually what I did was send the code that starts off the £6 per month bundle (as that's what I ultimately wanted). So I emailed them and got them to send me another £15 SIM for my backup phone at no cost and now when I wonder why that doesn't work I guess I'll use the code you mentioned to set it going so thanks for that.alanjones60 said:Did you text ukrwg1 to 669 to activate bundle?
I think maybe it's all a bit too complex and the people who set it up have lost sight of how it might appear to the customers, there isn't a clear step by step guide anywhere and it's far from intuitive. I'm sure it'll be fine once I get going0 -
It was all very simple for me.I ordered the £5 sim which gives me 50 minutes, 50 texts & 250mb of data free each month. The next day before the sim had even arrived I received an email informing me that my sim had now been activated. The following day the sim arrived & it worked straight away with no further top up required. All calls etc come out of my free bundle, and my balance remains at £5.The following week I ported over my number seamlessly. It's hard to see how they could make the process any more straight forward, it was all so simple.1

Why didn't you just email customer services and ask if there was a problem? You shouldn't have had to top up to use the service.Murmansk said:I got the SIM where you pay £15 as a one-off payment and get a free amount of data, texts and calls each month.
