The 40 year equities bull run is at an end.

We are entering a different era.

And, sadly, there are years of hard times ahead.

They won't catch me out, I've bought one of every of the ten thousand crypto currencies that have been made up so far.  I can't lose!
Think first of your goal, then make it happen!

Sounds like a winner.  You're as diversified in crypto as equity investors are in the stock market.

There have always been hard times ahead, and there will always be hard times ahead. "The 40 year equities bull run" is a fiction. Perhaps it comes from the same alternate reality where markets crash 80% during 2022. An 80% crash after 40 years with no bear markets would be more plausible.

S&P500 is currently down only 18% from its previous high.

In sterling terms it is down even less than that - just single figures

True, though only a small consolation of our currency devaluing. Anything you buy that is imported, or relies on imported materials, will be subject to the same effect and become even more expensive in sterling terms.

In the last month it is nearly 6 % up ( in Dollars) . Maybe the next bull run has already started??

The fear and greed index is up again. I can see either another leg down or not much either way for an extended period but surely the fundamentals are not there for a bull run.

Most analysts sound bearish but the market seems to be doing the opposite. It just doesn't add up to me and I am still DCA for my regular monthly amounts but won't be touching my cash pot at the moment.

I just see more downside risk than upside. What do others think?

    Would be my best guess.
