NS&I website - going round in circles trying to log in

If you are using your authorised device, you will not receive a One Time Password and you should be able to get access without it . As said by previous poster.
I can now access my account without getting locked out, but it's no longer 2 Factor authentication. After entering my acct number, surname and password, I go through the devices authorised stage and then straightaway gain access to my accounts without a one-time pass code being sent to my registered phone!

Going round in circles again trying to login this morning. I've tried using both Chrome and Chrome in Incognito mode (which worked a few weeks ago). I'm on Windows 8.1
Not having any problems with any of my other bank accounts.
NS&I have been aware of this problem for over a month.
This is absolutely ridiculous.
It seems it's never going to be fixed.
I have POA for my mother who is in a care home with dementia. After selling her home she has over half a million in an NS&I account which I now can't access online. This means I'm now struggling to pay her fees.
Who do I complain to? Would this be a case for the banking ombudsman or some other institution?

I always have used a VPN an Incognito /private browser, always delete history , cookies etc.Linux operating system,5g Home Broadband, Works fine for all banks etc.Never had any problems with NS and I previously . I tried to buy some bonds last month and i just couldn't sign in.I finally signed up using VPN (london). firefox, Normal browser all ad blockers switched off (because you miss important pop ups). I signed in and checked my account was still there and more importantly my money. Ok ive cracked it. Yippee. Then today i thought i would buy a couple of grand worth of premium bonds . Tried to sign in .NS and I number , Name , Password, Ok Selected my phone to put the on screen code . Then the web page just crashed.Recently updated from Ubuntu 20.14 to Ubuntu 22.04 but that's all that is different. To be honest if i cannot access my own money , when i want to i think i need to get rid of the premium bonds. The site has ruined my confidence in NS and I.0

One of my friends also has premium bonds he uses no computer security at all . He signed on straight away Ns and I site gave a random error and kicked him off the site. Then he had a 2nd attempt and it proceeded to work as it should, bought his bondsand all was good.So i had another attempt. hp-pc/ubuntu-22.04/Firefox/ NO VPN, NO ADBLOCKERS NO Private browser/ Incognito mode etc.It signed up straight away then crashed with a random error.2nd attempt signed up straight away and it worked as it should bought £2k bonds and all was well.So absolutely rubbish website but you can work around it.Might as well call it 2 attempt security not 2 factor authentication0

my problem is that I can log on, then if I try and do anything I get logged out with 'error you used the back button'0

Is there a new issue with NSI login today? I have not had any problems since 2FA was introduced and last logged in yesterday. Today I get an error when trying to login from two devices which have been working fine:
An error occured during SCA authentication. Please try again later.
I have tried with a new web broswer to see if that prompts a OTP but it does not and gives the same error as above.
Anyone else having problems today?

I have exactly the same problem. I've been trying to log in since 9am and it's now 11:40. A month ago Firefox was not working (I got an "it's not your fault, it's ours" message) so installed Opera and it worked fine. Today neither Firefox or Opera are working. Reading through the posts I tried Chromium (I'm on Ubuntu) and this doesn't work either, no matter how I set up cookies/incognito/history etc. I'm desperate to transfer money out today and this is really frustrating. Does anyone know what's going on?0

Given we are both having the same issue when it did work before today I suspect the problem is with NSandI.
If you are in a hurry I can only recommend phoning them to try and resolve it. I am going to wait a bit longer and see if they fix it or post a status update to explain that there are known problems with logins.0
