Genuine - you should have supplied the VRM. Without that they probably can't effectively search their database.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Lovely ta, they'll get that in the morning. Lapse on my part for not including it!0

Finally got SAR details back. The photos show the signage for the previous dedicated spots for the company, as opposed to the driver's. However, you still need a security access code to people to park. They only sent the PCN, pictures & NTK
Interestingly, the PCN number does not match the letter of claim from DCBL. The PCN on the letter of claim is for a different PCN that I did recieve. Spring Parking state in their email:
Please find enclosed the requested information – all data held on yourself and your vehicle. The only personal data we hold on yourself is your name, current postal/email addresses, and vehicle registration mark – including photographs of your vehicle at the time of the contravention.
So does that mean according to Spring Parking, the PCN that DCBL Legal is talking about no longer exists?

Of late, we have seen names we don't normally see. My guess this that both ATA's are telling their members what to do and which legal to use. All this because the parking industry is very shaky and nervous about the new code of practice which has been put on hold for the moment due to the parking industry objection.
There is a cartel operating
I've never seen Spring mentioned here and I've been active on here since early last year. If I was this person's friend I'd sit tight and wait out.2 -

Good Morning all,
Today the below email was received from DCBL Legal:
Email BeginsDear XXXXX,
We write in response to your email dated 20th June 2022.
We note from your correspondence that you state you were entitled to park in the bay as you were an employee at a location on site.
Following the contravention, our Clients Parking Attendants affixed a Notice to the vehicle. This provided the driver the opportunity to make full payment for the Charge successfully appeal or transfer liability if you were not driving. Unfortunately, none of the above was completed.
As none of the above were completed, our Client made an application via the DVLA to obtain the Registered Keeper’s details of the vehicle Your name and address of XXXXXXXXXXXXXX was provided. Our Client correctly issued correspondence to the address provided. Having not received payment, address verification was carried out prior to the Letter of Claim being sent. Your new address was located and as such the Letter of Claim was issued to you at the traced address.
Please note, it is a legal requirement to keep the DVLA updated with your current address, our Client would have no reason to believe you were not at the address legally registered.
Therefore, our Client issued further correspondence to the address to advise again the payment remained outstanding. They outlined that failure to make the payment would result in the matter being passed to Debt Recovery Agents, which would incur further costs. Again, the payment was left outstanding.
Please find attached all evidence we hold in relation to the matter.
You have 30 days from the date of this email to pay the outstanding balance of £165.00. Failure to do so will result in a claim being issued against you without further notice.
Payment can be made via bank transfer to our designated client account: -
• Account Name: DCB Legal Ltd Client Account
• Sort Code: 20-24-09
• Account Number: 60964441
You must quote the correct case reference (beginning ‘10’) when making payment. If you do not, we may be unable to correctly allocate the payment. If further action is taken by us as a result of an incorrect reference being quoted, you will be liable for any further fees or costs incurred.
Alternatively, you can contact DCB Legal Ltd on 0203 434 0437 to make payment over the telephone or online at https://dcblegal.co.uk/response/pay-online
Kind Regards,
Morgan Falconer
DCB Legal Ltd

Attached are the redacted images mentioned in the email. The organisation where the defender worked, they did not have a enough passes for all vehicles despite repeatably being asked, however they did have the spaces. Unfortunately in the pictures of said vehicle, you cannot see the signage behind the vehicle that states it is a spot for said employees of that company. It is worth remembering that a security code to enter this car park as it had barrier entry which the employee knew. It is presumed that next step would be county court claim as mentioned above?
