We recieve £325.60 ESA every two weeks plus PIP and my partners pension once a month from what we recieve and have been told I definately don't think we will recieve the payment

You've been given advice regarding this before and your ESA is part Inocme Related which means you're entitled to the payment.

Hi is anyone who receives both income related and contribution esa and received the £326 payment as again I been told I am not eligible

Yes they have because part of their ESA is Income Related, which entitles them to the payment.

The gov.uk page regarding COL payment has now been updated. There is a link you can access if you have not yet received payment.

Once the form is completed it does say allow them 2 weeks to respond.

I filled this form 4 day’s ago waiting for reply now.
  • Same as me. They did say it takes up to 2 weeks. So hopefully it won’t be too long. I imagine there will be a fair few responses to get through.

True hope don’t take too long. Are you on any particular benefit? I just curious to what people are still waiting.
  • I’m on UC. I first claimed April 2022, was previously on Tax Credits. My first assessment period was 26th April 2022 - 25th May 2022. I technically have a nil award, but my entitlement actually goes to the landlord directly for housing costs.

My last payment of Tax Credits was 26th April 2022.

In general if you were entitled to UC for a period ending 25th May which included help with rent then you would qualify for CoL. The fact the UC is paid direct to the landlord makes no difference.

Although you may have got the Tax Credits on 26th April I think your final entitlement day would have been 25th April (you can't be entitled to TC and UC on the same day). However, given the date of your change that may have confused the system.

    Hopefully you'll get confirmation soon.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
