I'm doing a long day tomorrow as overtime ( very very badly short staffed just now) I said I will help as long as I ain't doing the PPE job all day, they chose me to do the PPE job, I stood my ground, my spine feels like it's about to snap today and the numb feeling in my legs hasnt yet subsided, so they agreed.

Also found out today not only is the job I'm doing the highest risk for cancer ( hence the heavy PPE) but also the highest risk for musculoskeletal damage ... wonder why. 🙄🙄🙄

In other news .. budget done, Mr El has agreed another good budget for alcohol consumption so if he manages it things will be much better financially, it may have helped that I bought tickets for one of his favourite bands from the money we saved from alcohol, obviously this cant continue, but it's a good incentive to start with.

I would love to do another aspect of the qualification, but I am particular about what I want to do, you may have noticed a friend mentioning it on the book of faces, it's what she does is one of the other two roles I would do, but the money is no where near as good unless you have further qualifications, which you cant get unless you are in the role and training, but most jobs want experienced, kinda frustrating tbh,

add that to the fact I do get a deep sense of job satisfaction and do love my job ( just not the PPE... if I could only do it without the PPE)
