If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.2 -
Love the hare! 💜 - all hares are called Hartley here (another if you know you know 🤣🤣 - I think you need to be of a certain age!) I concede that it's not a very special name, though.
Love the fact that the woodsman and jewellery person are a team and that you have independently purchased from both- that's one of life's lovely coincidences 😃I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £204 -
@greent it was very intriguing the connection between the two, I dare say artistic type people are attracted to each other ( I wish I was artistic) but the fact I had found them separately and the fact they are very different type of arts is definitely interesting.
I did a bit of overtime yesterday, will be putting the money towards house repairs, we have so much to still do to this house ( but like everyone else is no doubt finding) it is costing an awful lot, and £75 a month isnt anywhere near enough to make any significant difference, I had taken on a much better paying second job previously, but since having covid I have not been well enough to do my second job, so I will slowly start doing overtime as I am able and slowly build my strength up to get back to my second job where I will earn more money.
Nothing else to report really, wages are due at the end of the week they are already spent, just waiting for them to arrive, Mr El has stuck to his budget which was a bit of a surprise will see how he manages next time.4 -
oh some of that message didnt go, I had said basically the Hare has no name at this time, I'm thinking he may land up not having one, or will be named something like " that bloody hare" after he has been tripped over a few times3

Well done on the overtime. I'm with you on home maintenance costs but they make a big difference to the mental load once done.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Interesting about the hare - I have a few beautiful sculptures, including a semi-abstract cat of solid wood, and I don't name them. They are what they are.
Sorry to hear you're not up to full stretch yet after the covid - it's tough, there's no doubt.2023: the year I get to buy a car2 -

Work has been crazy, I will be wearing my heavy PPE for 45 hours this week ... done 22.5 hours so far, my back is breaking, I will be so glad when others are trained up, did a new procedure today, I had done it before, myself and one other had, so we had to train people how to do it, some of whom have been dou g the job for 20 plus years, but had never done this thing before, it felt kinda awkward but we got there, then i had to explain to new people what we were doing, as the likelihood of them ever seeing it again is zilch, so it was important they understood what we were attempting.
Anyway all done, came home and Mr El had cooked a lovely meal, was a chow mein, very tasty, am heading to bed as I'm back up at 5.30 am for a rinse and repeat, another long day wearing PPE only instead of my usual running about I will be standing on the spot, will have varicose veins at this rate ... woe is me 🤣🤣3
