I doubt that anyone has but just out of curiosity, have they ever sent any people impersonating bailiffs to people’s homes? No, this is a fresh new scam from this Summer. Very new. An online scam followed by scam texts and letters.
If anyone did turn up, then call the Police because impersonating a bailiff is a criminal offence. In fact, why not report this at your local Police Station? You would need to be very prepared snd armed with info to stop the desk sergeant telling you it's a civil matter.
It's not. These people have fraudulently hacked your data online and are now threatening you with lies about being bailiffs (which they are not).
This is impersonating a bailiff and demanding money with menaces and online data fraud.
MUST be taken seriously.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes I won’t ignore it. I’ll also report it at a police station. But you’re right. It will take a miracle to get past the desk sergeant telling me that it’s a civil matter. But I will try.1

To avoid enforcement visits and additional fees, call: 0161 527 5747
I have not received one of these scam letters.
I phoned the number above and all you get is crappy music with a mesage, pre-recorded that says
"All of our agents are assisting other callers , please hold and we answer your call as soon as possible"
It's now 7pm ? My guess is that this message will go on 24/7 and there is no agent
I will try again at midnight when all good idiots will be tucked up in bed
Try it yourself ... it's a Manchester number2 -

Disagree think its a virtual number. Ive asked a friend in the telecoms industry if they can find who owns it
I think its most likely Sipgate2 -
Threats of clamping, threats of visits from fake bailiffs, threats to clamp a vehicle, threats of taking goods away.
For the avoidance of doubt, these scams are a crime because they are an attempt to obtain monies by deception.

Ive reported the number to Sipgate on the good chance they own this number, simply because they offer free virtual numbers5 -

The perfect tool for a scammer who wants to come and go
At midnight it was the "we are closed"message saying they are open from 9am-5pm
Very odd because as said, at 7pm last night the message was ..
"All of our agents are assisting other callers , please hold and we answer your call as soon as possible"
They must have forgotten to change the message >
