It appears a hole has appeared in the Spa... a fingernail shaped one... Woops! Although this is good for weight loss as it avoids drinks and extra calories... repair pending.
I have not had bread in a while, however I have had a couple of crumpets with light cream cheese and not had any stomach upsets which bread gives me.
Hope everyone has a good week.
Thank you for updating Brambling.

A disappointing STS for me this week, I thought I was being good
I was good this afternoon and talk my sister and myself out of tea and cake out, we came home and just had a cuppa so saved money too

Morning All,
Sorry for the late check in this week, work's been getting in the way again.
Brambling Well done for last week's loss and sorry for the unfair STS this week. Resisting cake should definitely save lbs as well as £s
Ginger I'm glad you're feeling a bit more positive and very well done on reaching half a stone
Jenny Well done for both losses and best of luck for hitting the next stone range
Sammy Well done for the loss and being so close to your 1 stone
Simpleliving Welcome and best of luck
SSue Well done for the loss and best of luck with your cardiac rehab and getting your hip op
Sunfl0w3r Well done for the STS
Van_Girl Well done for the impressive loss, I'm glad it's stopped being stubborn. Enjoy the new dress.
Zippy Well done for the losses and getting into your shorts. It's always so nice when you can go shopping from your own wardrobe.
I'm weighing in with a mildly annoying but not unexpected STS this week. Well, it was actually a quarter of a lb gain but I'm not counting anything under a half. On the plus side, I'm another one who tried on some clothes that have been in the too-small bag for quite some time and found I've got a couple of dresses I can wear again.
This week seems incredibly difficult for some reason and every day has been a real battle between what I want and what I'll allow myself with lots of "why am I bothering?" moments but I think I've just about kept a lid on it. We're going to a friend's for dinner on Saturday so it'll be interesting to see how well or not I cope with that.
Best of luck everyone xx5 -
Morning guys. Congrats to all losers, gainers and sts. Keep going, you've got this!
Sad to say I've been p*ssing about the past few weeks; mainly because I've had time off work and just generally making the absolute WORST food choices. I am here to take accountability for my actions though.
I don't think I've checked in here since Aug 1st so here goes:
8/8 (birthday week) 5.5lb gain
15/8 2lb loss
21/8 2.5lb loss
I'm definitely not going to reach my target loss for this period but my head is in the right place now so we'll just keep pushing on
I CAN DO THIS!
I WILL DO THIS!
SLOW AND STEADY!
LET'S GO!Common sense is not common
Small progress is still progress

Trying very hard as seen physio for the hip ,X-ray tomorrow, more exercises ,but will probably be in the system soon .
BMI just under the limit ,but obviously need to lose as much as possible6 -
STS for me this week, which I am more than happy with. I did go over my calories towards the end of the week, so that will probably impact this week, so a bit more effort required to hopefully continue my progress at the next weigh

@Brambling
Best post now before it's too late. I was down 2 pounds due to food poisoning (not a recommended diet....) but have regained 1 so I'll log this as 1 pound loss for now.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. 1 lb off for me please Brambling.
Suffolksue - well done on the BMI target.
Candiii - I agree with the slow but steady, I was thinking the other night that even if I lost 3 lb a month what that would be over a year, every half pound counts.
Well done everyone else, I'm going to try to have a better week.
Stressful week over, the tooth I broke on holiday at Christmas still has not been fixed. Dentist has mucked me about no end, booked in twice to have a Crown... long story got to the dentist last week and was booked in for treatment and he said he was not going to do it and wanted me to go to A private dentist he recommends (who is cruddy). Other tooth broken in April holiday not fixed... he put a filling in and it dropped out the next day... I don't think I could make this stuff up. Now booked into very very expensive private dentist, they are very good but hate to think of the cost, over £100 just for a consultation.
