@SIRENS Think you deserve a huge pat on the back for you weight loss. As for the off tangent post... well lots of things effect weight loss or gain so please post if it helps, to have lost weight in a difficult time is amazing.
As for me I am hovering on the ruddy stone mark, I'm sure their is a fat fairy who visits in the night (not like the tooth one) and decides your fate, lol.

SIRENS I agree with Jenny you have done very well during a difficult year and got your DD through her A levels - anyone is welcome to say anything here
losing weight for you is the best way of doing it, have a good week with your son and start again once he's gone back to school, you're providing him with happy memories
Jenny I'm also sitting on a stone marker and it's a little reluctant to move in the right direction, there is definitely a physiological effect of that stone number and even dropping a half pound below and make a person feel so much better.
i was speaking to someone today who was saying he had lost a lot of weight down from a size 38' trouser back to a 32' and he was fed up by people telling him he had lost too much, I've met him once before about six months ago and couldn't really remember other than he was bigger then. TBH he looked ok to me and I told him if he had lost it because he wanted too and not because he was ill and he was happy that's all that matters and tell them to back off, I also told him when he was my age (he's about 10 years longer) his knees will thank him!Have a good bank holiday everyoneLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin5 -
I'm back again!
I've put on 3lbs over the past five weeks. I'll be honest - I thought (and it feels) like a lot more.
The Blood Sugar Diet (BSD hereafter) starts again today.
Brunch - mystery veg soup from the freezer
Tea - Spanish chicken with courgette

STS - Going to have a good try this week. MRI, (NHS person working after 6pm on a BH is appreciated) tonight on "good knee" which I damaged in accident a couple of months back. 2 Duff knees is my new incentive to lose weight. Steroid injection only lasted 1 month as opposed to 6 so diet and exercise it is.
Brambling - Getting down to the next stone does make you feel good.
Well done everyone for the loss.
Nice to have you back Frith

Well done everyone, sounds like we've all had lots of distractions though, both physically and emotionally
0.5 lbs loss for me. Think I'm getting the hang of staying balanced when I've got things planned, but I'm at home all week this week so I'll be able to focus more (hopefully!)£12k in 25 #14 £10,474.10/£18k 24 #14 £15,653.11/£18k 23 #14 £17,195.80/£18k 22 #20 £23,024.86/£23k6
