The key wasn’t in a pocket or bag, it was in the front storage. The manufacturer cannot find what caused it but can see it happened!
Glad you're back. Can you answer the earlier question then - have you actually formally rejected the car yet?
It’s odd why the OP won’t say what model it is and wether it’s been rejected

Who started all this stop/start button stupidity? It drives me mad. What is wrong with a key in the ignition? I thought with time I would find an advantage but I just can't. What is the advantage even supposed to be? Drives me mad every time I get in my newest car.
I am not a fan of keyless ignition ( got to find somewhere to put my key everytime)
A pocket? And/or just attach them to your keyring with your other keys? Or do you have a keyless house?
good idea "pocket" lol then the fob is accidentally triggered. If I every get a keyless entry car I'd never put it my pocket when driving for that very reason
I've never accidentally triggered my keys by having them in my pocket whilst driving.
Fair enough but can you speak for the other millions, no you can't.
What do you reckon these people are all accidentally triggering? The boot release?
I’ve done that. Driving around town and the boot suddenly opened, must have pressed accidentally when in my pocket. Of course, even that didn’t turn the engine off.

That would be a no then.

What "procedures" is the dealer not following?

You know this thread doesn't need to be 9 pages long if you gave us the necessary information up front so we could help you better.

Please refrain from quoting me out of context.

I'm not sure I follow. I quoted your entire post, along with the full context trail.
