He's wrong that they need evidence of parking. They don't. In any case they do have an image of the car stopped in your case, and the new incoming Government Code of Practice says that more than momentary stopping can lead to a parking charge (it's a matter of fact and degree).

They have a still photo of a vehicle outside the parking zone of a car park, whether the car was actually stationary or not is debatable. Surely there should be a time for both the picture of the front of the vehicle allegedly entering the car park and another time for the picture of the vehicle allegedly leaving the car park to show if the car was actually there for a length of time?

There has to be some evidence (depends on facts and degree/timing and yes, the quality of images) but none of it matters because you can ignore APCOA.

After emailing APCOA customer complaints, with the email I posted on here but altered with the suggestions coupon mad mentioned, I have this morning received the following email.

Yes, but that itself speaks volumes. Normal PPC attitude is "you can't prove you did not receive it, so yah sucks boo to you". THIS is a tacit admission that it was not sent, and IMHO is the tip of very large iceberg

Edit to add, that iceberg would include 'never sent' PCNs and other documents,it seems to me

Yes this is the second. Yes I do realise I may have been able to defeat the first pcn, but the driver admitted to me they had parked there (albeit for 10mins) and put the money in my account to pay it. As he parked there and didn’t pay for a ticket I didn’t challenge the pcn. The driver disputed he parked there a second time so I challenged the 2nd pcn.
