And no time period the car was allegedly parked? How can they get away with that!
They get away with it because sometimes people pay when they don't need to.

Because this is an unregulated industry, set up by and run by scammers, with an ATA that supports them.
The government know it, we know it, every time in the past the government have tried to sort it out they have messed it up, the scammers and their two ATAs  just open up more loopholes, and laugh all the way to the bank.
The government have banned the use of anpr in authority run car parks because it isn't fit for purpose, you are finding out that it's a bag of brown stuff, and when you pay up you just get taken for a mug.

As always, the allegation is rebuttable but DON'T go adding any words to any appeal, demanding 'where's your proof that I parked?!'

    It is obvious why not.

It isn’t obvious to someone with autism.
They don’t show the car parked and there is no time difference given upon entering and exiting the car park.
If their grounds of issuing the charge is entering a contract by way of driving into a car park with signage, being the keeper but not the driver would mean I haven’t entered any such contract.

Do we not have grounds to inform the car park company that any further correspondence on the matter on our part would then form a contract and any letter or email thereafter will be charged to them at £60 payable within 14 days etc. . .

Yes, as long as your words don't imply who parked.  Which is why we provide a template appeal to use.

Yes, thanks. I did use the template whenI appealed. I haven’t added anything further to it.
  • I received email confirmation on the 18th August regarding my appeal.
The email stated a decision would be made and emailed to me within 35 days.

36 days later I have not heard anything. Does this mean as they said I would be given a decision within 35 days they have forfeited the right to uphold the charge or am I likely to just receive a court order or something?

Have you tried logging in online as if to pay? Easiest way to check if it's cancelled.

Log on to the Apcoa  appeal page and in small text it will probably give you a date they allegedly replied to your appeal.
I have a complaint ongoing with the BPA regarding this issue.
