Funnily enough I’ve just logged on and it says they replied with their decision on the 22/08 and the appeal was rejected. Please pay £100 by 29th September or it will be passed on to a debt collector.
I have not received an email from them at all other than the one on the 18th aug confirming my appeal.2 -
I wonder if @bergkamp would be kind enough to share with you his BPA complaint ref, and you could both email the BPA's Head of AOS, Sara Roberts together with your evidence, spelling out bergkamp's suspicions of what APCOA seem to be doing.
Could be wrong but it looks suspiciously like forum appeals are being targeted for ghost rejection letters so that POPLA codes are never received, and just expire.
They need calling out IMHO and with more than one example, so it's not dismissed as a one-off.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You MUST make a note of the ref number whilst it is on screen as you get no email confirmation of the complaint from the BPA. Which is ironic...

Thanks bergkamp. I have emailed southern rail to see where they stand on the matter as APCOA’s response is unacceptable.1

Did you contact APCOA stating you did not receive an email and a POPLA code?1

No. There does not seem to be an easy way to contact Apcoa once an appeal has been made, so straight to the BPA to complain...rowdy75 said:Did you contact APCOA stating you did not receive an email and a POPLA code?
My BPA complaint only went in on Friday, and checking progress brings up 'case not found' !!
Hopefully this is due to the weekend and nobody looking at it but will find out tomorrow.2 -
