You can only appeal once you get a NTH.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update on this, couldn’t be bothered with the hassle and paid the reduced rate.
low and behold got another pcn through the post yesterday, this time saying the date of the charge is 25/7th but the picture looks suspiciously like the last pcn sent through and the time is 5:08 am instead of 5:07 am that the last pcn had on it. The driver is sure he wasn’t there on 25th and I am not sure if they are trying to pull a fast one. Has this happened to anyone else?0 -
You paid, so you're probably on the gullible list now.

Please then tell us here that you have done so.5 -
No-one ever needs to pay an APCOA PCN because they never use the POFA. it's very, very, very simple to appeal and win. These are the easiest ones!
No risk, no hassle: 5 minutes copy & paste appeal from the keeper, not ticking 'driver'.
Scam over. 100% guaranteed 'nailed on' POPLA win (we rarely say that but this is APCOA).

Yers, there have been reports of this happening before when people pay up, once people pay then they appear to get more demands almost as if they are marked as being easy targets

Right. Have have just appealed this on their website. However there was no box to tick to say if I was the keeper or the driver, although the pcn was sent to ‘registered keeper’ I have copy and pasted the blue text on the newbies page.
What I am unsure of now is what happens next. Also can’t get my head around there not being any photo supplied of the alleged parking offence I.e evidence of the car in a parking bay (only at the entrance of the car park) and no timeframe given only the time of offence as 5.07am (no amount of time the car was allegedly parked for)0 -
As above is what happens next.Coupon-mad said:No-one ever needs to pay an APCOA PCN because they never use the POFA. it's very, very, very simple to appeal and win. These are the easiest ones!

POPLA stage is fully explained in the Newbies thread 3rd post.
Re the photos, you can log in and see them. Surely they were visible when you appealed, under a 'view photos' tab?

Yes the photos were visible but as I said they only show the car at the entrance of the car park. Where the car park is situated is just past the station, with a tyre fitters between the station and the car park. The car park is the only safe place to turn around if all the parking bays for the tyre fitters are full (I’m aware they won’t be at 5:07am but you get my point)0

That's how ANPR camera capture works. There are never any photos of the car actually in a parking bay.rowdy75 said:Yes the photos were visible but as I said they only show the car at the entrance of the car park. And no time period the car was allegedly parked? How can they get away with that!0
