Take a bow, Minster Baywatch and an unnamed scum debt recovery firm waste of space, for taking money from a charity:https://www.spaldingtoday.co.uk/news/amp/volunteer-driver-fought-hospital-parking-ticket-for-four-yea-9287190/
"Voluntary car driver has fought unfair Peterborough Hospital parking charge for four years but charity is now being forced to pay up".
Wonder if the BPA are proud? The situation fits the new Appeals Charter and the PCN should have been cancelled, but their members are still making hay while the sun shines.
Ripping off charities now.
Any vulnerable victim will do.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

IMHO he talks utter crap. Desperate times for them.
The regulatory regime coming their way is already more robust than they ever dreamt it would be. Good!
Just need to get the parking charges levels right and the ban in the disproportionate 'DRA fee' unjust enrichment over the line in 2023.

I agree with Coupon ..... he talks utter crap ?
He refers to the government's lack of appetite for raising parking charges ??
Rishi has no option but to protect the public from these money scammers and so has Keir Starmer if he becomes PM.

Unnamed PPC setting up ANPR at a previously Council-operated site where people still had valid permits with months still left:
https://thestrayferret.co.uk/new-parking-charges-at-nidderdale-showground-branded-unfair/
"Pateley’s parking permit traditionally runs from April to April and the decision to change the rules before the current permit has expired drew an angry response from Andrew Murday, the Liberal Democrat county councillor for Pateley Bridge and Nidderdale. He told the Stray Ferret:
“Whoever is responsible has ridden roughshod over the previous arrangement, which should have been honoured until the end of March.
“People in all good faith bought permits that entitled them to park in the showground car park until then.
“It is a disgrace. People have been blindsided and it’s unfair to issue fines.”
A Harrogate Borough Council spokesman said:“Nidderdale Showground is owned and managed by Nidderdale Agricultural Society so you would need to speak to them regarding the parking system in place.
“Previously we have managed car parking at the showground but this is no longer the case.”"

I predict a flood of Horizon unfair PCNs for the drivers caught in the 'hour and a half' gridlocked queue to leave Bristol Sainsburys:

Not sure we saw this one about notorious IPC firm, Link Parking reportedly ruining yet another residential estate, where residents were left without permits but Link are issuing PCNs 'like confetti':
https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/parking-company-handing-out-fines-7861742.amp
Some have felt pressured to pay £60 'before it went up' to £100, despite it being an unfair PCN and not a fine. I have no idea why the heck intelligent members of the public do that.
If people in the UK had more backbone - and Googled stuff - the parking industry would not have exploded into the monster it is now.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
