Parking stories in the News/media

Don't think we saw this article about UKPC and DCBLegal reportedly ruining a businessman's credit rating by allegedly using a 'completely false' address for a court claim:
https://metro.co.uk/2022/11/27/company-boss-hit-with-100-parking-fines-for-parking-in-his-own-space-17802311/amp/
As well as the CCJ. he has suffered some 100 PCNs, and his workers have also been caught, despite owning his space under a lease.
Come ON UKPC, drag yourselves away from your clamper mindset and join the real world. Do you even know what parking 'management' is?
It is the usual story of *someone* withholding his permit (that he doesn't even need because it's reportedly his own exclusive space) for months on end, which has enabled UKPC to issue PCNs instead. Some might say, a perfect scam set-up.
Reminds me of the Judge Rinder private parking Show Trial on TV a couple of years ago, where clueless Robert Rinder (after looking at an unreadable black sign on his screen) actually asked the PPC suit not 5 minutes later "was the extra debt collection fee on your contract?".
When he was told 'yes' he swallowed that hook line and sinker without looking at the contract to check (the terms on the unreadable black sign that had just been on his screen...with nothing visible about adding £60 per PCN).Despite a real court's DUTY under s71 of the CRA 2015, not once did Robert Rinder stop to ask himself about the fairness of a rogue regime where a PPC apparently faffs around not issuing a permit...and proceeds to issue over 30 PCNs instead to a car they knew (or should have known, from a note on the dashboard) was a new staff member's all along.
The above article seems very similar. Fairness just goes out the window with most PPCs.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What I do not understand in this article is that the man claims a false address was used but there he is holding lots of letters which he received ?
If DCBL/UKPC changed the address taking him to court, that would be fraud
If UKPC failed to provide a permit did they knowingly do that ? After their last attempt of fraud, it would not surprise me

Yet another day, another reported unfair PCN customer service failure by ParkingEye and POPLA, only cancelled when the victim went to a newspaper:
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/20828115/slapped-parking-fine-minute-early/amp/
He lost at POPLA, whose clueless 'Assessor' apparently said he should have paid for the extra minute!
Unproven ANPR images claimed he'd arrived 63 seconds too early for his pre-booked slot, despite the fact by the time the car was parked, it would have been 8pm...
Then when the newspaper sniffed around, it seems that PE suddenly decided it was in fact a 'keying error' for not inputting his VRM inside the hotel!
Not what they'd told POPLA, then...apparently...
WHY THE HECK WOULD ANYONE BE REASONABLY EXPECTING TO HAVE TO GO INSIDE AND INPUT YOUR VRM ON AN UNKNOWN IPAD AS WELL, IF THEY'D BOOKED THE PARKING IN ADVANCE ONLINE?
Ludicrous.
And more evidence that POPLA are useless, IMHO. What is the point?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Disabled person illegally accused by useless PPC G24, of 'overstay' at a retail park:
https://www.gazette-news.co.uk/news/23203212.colchester-pensioner-left-unable-appeal-parking-fine/
Applying an inflexible fixed time limit to Blue Badge holders breaches the Equality Act 2010 - but never mind the law, eh, G24?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

One does wonder if the two daft ATA's have told their cowboys not to respond to the media .... it's happening all the time
G24 like all the other cowboys are simply ignorant by not responding1 -
ParkingEye yet again:
https://www.lep.co.uk/news/people/confusion-over-car-parking-payment-at-royal-preston-hospital-lands-angry-woman-with-a-fine-3962967
Reportedly ruining patient's peace of mind at a Hospital and not recognising their own card system when it appears on the victim's bank statement.
Obviously they cancelled in the end after blaming a keying error. But why are PCNs being issued for easily findable keying errors at all? What happened to the supposed '19 human checks' before issuing any PCN?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That car park for at least the last 10 years you took ticket at barrier then paid in hospital or car park when you left perfectly good, there are 2 car parks there, car park b the pay machine facing when you go to pay does not take cash despite saying it does (seen lots of confused pensioners there and some drive off in frustration) not sure about the other machine. Car park a not sure about but you ca not park in car park A and pay in car park B1

A Leeds Mcdonalds realises it needs planing permision for ANPR cameras and signs, so has applied for retrospective planning permission =article contains a link to planning consultation with all the documents relating the the ANPR install up for downloadHave they realised you also need advertising consent for the signage as well - which can not be obtained retropectivly? From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"4 -
