I stand corrected. I was reading an article in the Torrington (Devon) News feed about car park prices the same day, but couldn't remember where I had seen the post about the ANPR vandalism.
My memory is not what it used to be.  :(
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D
    All my screwdrivers are cordless.

Easy confusion, when you consider there is a Wellington in Somerset.

The Wellington in the article is  in my neck of the woods though (Shropshire). It was once a nice little market town
    Aye bit different now

South West tourist hotspots could see new two-tier parking rules with visitors paying more than locals for their precious parking spaces.
The council didn't say how parking enforcement officers would know which vehicles were parked by visitors or residents!

Is it the paying machine or the parking company that needs improved at the Headcorn Foreman Centre car park?
Civil Enforcement Limited are issuing PCNs and rejecting people's appeals who say they paid for parking.
Property manager, speaking on behalf of the landlord, says "the machines will be examined “urgently” but said they have only been there for a little over three years."
Then maybe he should "urgently" examine the parking company's practice.

Why can't the industry stop lying?!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
