A follow on article from above:
Excel Parking: MP Abtisam Mohamed demands changes to payment systems at notorious Broomhill site amid claims drivers find it "impossible" to pay in time.

In addition to highlighting drivers paying problems to Excel the Sheffield MP said
"l would be grateful if you could advise of the steps you will be taking to implement a more user friendly system for car park users at this and other sites under your administration"....
"This is an issue that has been highlighted by the Sheffield Star several times and remains unresolved, despite the IPC guidelines regarding reasonable payment time.”
The DVLA relies on the IPC to monitor adherence to the appropriate code of practice and to address non-compliance as required. Well it's quite obvious the DVLA are fools to rely on the IPC to carry out this role.

Excel Parking: Pensioner hit with £100 demand after hunt for Broomhill pay meters that 'didn't exist'.

The pensioner's hunt in a car park that's been pay meter free for at least 5mths and attempts to pay by other means caused him to far exceed Excel's 10min pay time deadline.
As one would expect his appeal to Excel was rejected but amazingly his second appeal to IAS was SUCCESSFUL.
A woman who encountered similar issues had BOTH her appeals rejected is preparing to fight Excel in court.
    Good old David Walsh again.

Exposing the truth about Excel (and their increased turnover, almost all of which will be from issuing ever more PCNs).

He certainly does that. I never know if I should mention the reporter by name here.

I just wish MPs would copy their letters to the PPC's ATA, landowner and the useless DVLA.

Some truly awful cases included in the Comments. What s***hole of a car park!  Excel are shameful.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I don't have a link, but Bristol Live has reported that Bristol Airport may be up for sale, along with several others in the UK and overseas.

Bristol Live understands the OTPP is mulling the sale of Bristol, Birmingham, London City, Copenhagen and Brussels airports, and is already in talks with minority shareholders over the plans.
