Good morning all,
Friday melted away, although being high up like ASB it could have been worse.
Yesterday disappeared too. I went to the allotment and spent a couple of despondent hours wondering why I bother. Admittedly I haven’t been for a fortnight due to the lurgy, but plans to feed us are falling rapidly away. Again. I did manage HHI x a gazillion when I got home, put a load through the wm, made pizza, tidied the fridge, and have prepped various bits for today - rhubarb for jam, beans for dips…
One side effect of covid in this house is late morning, especially at the weekend. DH is still in bed - unheard of - and I’m up (just) but not dressed.
Plans for today (maybe):
rhubarb jam, beany things and possibly bread to make.
meal plan
finally plant out the dahlias in the back garden. An aspiration again.
Round - technical as I am not, I’m pretty sure the smart meters run off bluetooth. And turning off the indoor reader doesn’t stop the meter going round…as someone I work with thought….
Kaz - I hope you have no more embarrassing encounters with Naked Man Walking.
Have a good day all.8 -

I have been awarded a badge for being an mse stalwart. I have no idea why I suddenly merited this and I had to G00gle stalwart to make sure it was a compliment. 🤔 Ooo loyal, reliable and hard working.....well....as Meatloaf would sing: two out of three ain't bad 🤣
Been a very busy Valli
WUALTD and dried some too - I will NOT run the DW on full price leccy if it's not a high day or a holiday!
Ironed all the laundry, now airing.
Now having a coffee break

Morning friends
I am a Stalwart too. Who thinks of these things?
So me and the old Covid have been having a right jolly old time. 10 hours sleep last night and I felt shocking when I woke up but I have eased myself out of bed and into my office chair. I am going to potter doing some home admin and filing, I need a new driving licence and DH has a tax bill to pay.
DS1 has been sent a hospital appointment for while we are on holiday. This is to discuss treatment for his "moderately active" Crohns, which is tricky because they have to find a treatment that doesnt trigger the Lymphoma again. I am trying to mentally park all of that until I feel a bit stronger.
I might make lasagnes later if I feel like it.9 -

Hands up if you switched the water off when you thought you were switching off the WM at the wall. And hours later had palpitations when you flushed the toilet and it didn't refill. 🙋♀️ Just me then.
Luckily I realised what I'd done before I started knocking on neighbour's doors.
Which meant I was able to WULTD 😊
