Narco that sounds tough, anyone's MH would be suffering after all that x
Up at 6 am, bodyweight workout done then into the office and 10 hours at the paid stuff. Had to go for a blood test and it made my hand go numb which was really odd, it's gone off thankfully. We will see if my thyroid is behaving itself. I have a warning light on on the car which almost sent me into meltdown, particularly after all the dramas with our previous car. Deep breaths.
1 load of washing in, our bed made.
Round it's tricky sometimes with adult kids, their lives and GFs. Sometimes you can pick your moments to say something, at other times you just have to keep shtum. DS2 has been offered a good well paid part time job that he could do alongside his uni course next year but has turned it down. What do I know?

Good evening 😁
I have been a rubbish FL recently! 🙄
The house is ticking over - laundry being done, kitchen & LR look OK (if you don't look too closely!) The garden is a mess! DH & DS have been taking down the old shed. Half if it is in the front garden, the rest is still on the grass or in situ. DH will need to do a tip run tomorrow (& the day after, and the day after, etc.) I have warned my kiddies parents not to let them near the wood in the front as there may be nails, and the back garden is out of bounds. We will go out tomorrow.
Tomorrow's aspirations involve cleaning the BM (it has been stored in a cupboard that gets musty & mildewy). DS has bought a pizza oven & made lots of mess making dough yesterday! The BM might make things easier 🙂 I also need to do some admin & work paperwork. DW has been put on, so that will need emptying. We probably need to do a food shop too!
I had 2 separate surprise visits from 2 friends today, which was nice 😊 It ate into my allotment time a little, but I still managed to pick lots of strawberries & raspberries, and dig up some garlic. So much to do still!
DD1 has 3 weeks to go. It is getting close now. I have a bag sort of packed as I will need to head up there when its time. Exciting stuff!
Narc0 I hope you are feeling a bit better. You sound like you have been busy! Don't overdo things 🙂
Round I hope you are finding your equilibrium again after your experience last week.
Valli & Natty thank you for the lists. Big hugs to both of you x
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them. Night night everyone 😴

Morning all.
First cuppa being slurped. I have an exercise class and medical appointment today as well as dailies and dog walking.
I will report back with any flying but right now I'm going to check banking and then cut up some fruit for breakfast which will include raspberries from the garden. Yummy.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Morning all
I am firmly back in, I’ve really missed you all, both your news and your company.
I am out all day today so limited flying, but I have fed everyone (kids, birds, dog), slurped a cuppa and tidied a bit. Last night I dealt with a big bit of financial admin that has been cluttering my brain up for weeks, so feeling good about that.
Sending all the love and positive vibes to you all. And eggs, I can send eggs, got blinking loads of them! X

Oooh Jazee, you've reminded me that I need to pick the alpine strawberries from the raised bed in the front garden, to go with our breakfast, before the blackbirds get them all - don't think I'll bother with cutting them up, though! We started off with a couple of little plants and they have seeded themselves so now we have quite a lot, i.e. probably enough for a mouthful each
Had a lovely surprise just now when DS1 rang me. He has just bought a hands-free car phone thingummy and decided to test it on me on his way to work, so we have had a bit of a chat without it being a "Please help!" call.
The Old Wives meeting last night was great fun, with the added pleasures of Jubilee trifle made by my friend M and some of the best scones I've ever made - I realised at 7.00 pm that I had promised to take some, and they came out of the oven at 7.27 and were on the table in the church hall at 7.32Not a slinky evening, but I slept very well (yes, there was a hint of amaretto in the trifle).
Today's plan:
- get dressed before the window cleaner arrives
- empty all the bins
- S&S bathroom and kitchen
- hoover and dust the LR
- hoover upstairs
- keep going with the admin work
- drop DH off at SW
- run my study group
- go to optician this afternoon and get my prescription checked
- walk Rosie
- do some long-overdue little gardening jobs (DH minced the lawn yesterday - that's twice in a month)
Welcome back, asb - I would love some eggs! One day...
Hope your migraine is gone this morning, pigpen x
Well done Round on coping so well with all the hassle you've had in the past week x
Enjoy your break, Narc0 x
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xx
