Hi all
This weather is odd. I have been out in the garden in short and t-shirts and suddenly the temperature has dropped and the sun has gone in. I am now indoors back in jeans and sweatshirt.
Dont feel like doing much so I am giving in to it. The car is in the garage getting a new brake caliper, we have to pick it up on Monday so will work the logistics of that out nearer the time.
DS has been making me laugh, he is having afternoon tea with GFs family in Bettys. He messaged me telling me he is terrified of spilling or breaking something, and now keeps sending updates. He is so out of his comfort zone.
Kaz I cant decide whether to admire your naked beach walker for not giving a damn, or be annoyed with him for making people uncomfortable. Its a wonder someone hasnt called the police.
Flying is very minimal, I have pulled a few weeds out if that counts.9 -

Brief summary from phone as Internet packed up. Mr N is concerned he may have dug the cable when gardening.....tho installers were meant to run it through copper pipes.
Lovely lake swim
Started last report.
Went to Ald1.
Spent ages turning router on and off, emailing techies, rebooting, ringing techies.......before Mr N started wondering.....techies coming next week.
Hoovered a bit mainly to avoid embarrassment when techies come as router corner of the lounge was gross when I moved its shelf unit away from the wall.
Did some gardening.
Filled bird feeders.
Watched thunderstorms.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
I will be pottering and dog walking. Who knew you can get facial paralysis from an insect bite? Not me! Fortunately improving quite quickly and only one side.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning all
We have nice weather here but nowhere near as hot as some of you, we are very high up so the maximum we are getting is 16 or so.
I did way too much yesterday and ache like heck today. I’ll take the children swimming, then we shall have a lazy afternoon I think - well as lazy as we can given all the jobs we now have to do here!
Lots of love to all xx

Good morning my lovelies xx
I have been awarded a badge for being an mse stalwart. I have no idea why I suddenly merited this and I had to G00gle stalwart to make sure it was a compliment. 🤔 Ooo loyal, reliable and hard working.....well....as Meatloaf would sing: two out of three ain't bad 🤣
However... I do feel that I merit my memberence (is that a word?) of the mse community after receiving my latest gas bill! Gulped when opening it - poised myself ready for a shock. Raised prices having made it through my self imposed news ban. How much? A tad under £45. For three months usage. (That's the upside of paying overestimated bills - eventually you get a nice surprise 😊 ) Not vastly overestimated though.....or I'd have been sending in meter readings. Seriously thinking about having smart meters installed though. Question: do smart meters run off my WiFi? Which I turn off at night.
Much brighter morning here so I've brought down the laundry hamper and my first load is swishing. Obviously that means I'm up 🙂 and I've made my bed, eaten breakfast and supped a brew.
Have a lovely day 😘
Rxx
