I would also add that my main choice of entertainment is reading, and you don’t need gas or electric for that 😉😉

here is my gas usage over the last couple of years - peaked in first 2 weeks of January this year at 116kWh/day

An LED light will probably cost less to run than candles, but doesn't look as nice!

Completely agree with this! Add the log burner too and we’re there! 

Not sure my book buying habit it that economical though!

Local library is my happy place; I read so much I’d be bankrupt if I bought books 😊😊

I use the library and have a kindle too and often read the free books, but some books I just want to buy and keep if they are authors I know I love or a particularly pretty cover.

Don’t judge me 🙈
