My daughter is a Farrow & Ball fan but she gets a cheaper version by getting another company to mix a copy.
How are you and your Dad feeling now?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Dad is happily ensconced in his bed having been fed. I am back in my bed having my own breakfast. This lurgy is no joke.
I'm at the stage of having enough energy to be bored but not enough to do much. So all my projects are piling up2 -
My brain is now porridge I have been watching so much YouTube.
Spending:
14.50 on dress, shorts and 3 books in the charity shop.
12 on papers, tea and protein bar.
11 on earplugs and cough medicine.

That actually looks like quite a lot of spending when I write it down. The dress made me smile though when I put it on. And the books were fun. Also I can't do anything so buying stuff it is.

Poor dad bore the brunt of my grumpiness this morning and ended up on the floor again. Teacup now sick and being horrible.
Looked up the price of f and b and at €69 a tin I will not be doing that. I did buy a cheap paint tester yesterday and the quality is noticeably different. But I don't want to spend that much for this project so I'm going for a messy studio vibe instead.
I've decided I'm going to get a skip bag just to make it easier to actually get rid of stuff. The old sofa has been in the front for a bit too long now and I think even one trip to the tip would take it out of me. Although if it was free I'd probably sing a different tune.2 -
Most councils organise bulky waste collections for a fee... Is that an option for you?
I wouldn't be spending £69 on a single tin of paint either!!

We're beyond bulky waste and onto maxi skip bag. Which I am grateful for as I really don't have the energy for multiple tip runs. This way I can just go outside, throw everything in and then get it collected.
It's a shame really, it's really nice paint but the room isn't big enough to even use up one small can of paint. I have used one of the tester pots on the radiator which looks nice. I also painted a background for my seascape rather than framing it.
I did get a Starbucks delivery today. I was pretending I was on holiday by getting a strawberry frappucino and sitting outside.
My room has taken a slightly unplanned turn which I am going to test out tomorrow. The feng shui videos said something like arranging the space to suit what you want to be. If you want to exercise etc don't have it set up so you sit all the time. Which is what I shall aim for.

Le snazzy radiator etc

I think the paint is the point but, wow, beautiful photograph
I hear you on organising your room. I just shifted furniture so I can do press-ups.
Our rooms are the same size. It's hard.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
