No bother pavacava. The exemption I have covers the entire amount. I am not sure if it is a discretionary exemption though. The place I found the most information is my local council page2

I am loving the garden chat. So many possibilitiesIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Guess what arrived today dia? My new garden trimmer things. Went out to have a play already, it's like giving the grass a haircut 🤣🤣🤣
I've messaged garden man a bit of a garbled message, it does seem to be another one of those things where what I need falls into the cracks between specialities.
Money priorities need to take centre stage for a while. It's always at the end of the month scramble that I realize the big things are there 🤦♀️
I've also realized that my passport is out of date. So that will be €100 at some point so I can get the card and the book.
Emailed a physio today to see if they had some kind of asd related assessment. They replied with a no. Bit of a pinch felt as I realized this is not going to be as easy as I would like it to be. But then I may just be over thinking it (cough thinking as it should be cough) so I'm going to start with a simple biomechanical assessment which is €80.
On top of which I need to catch up with debt repayment, schedule an overpayment on mortgage and make the amazon payments.

Best of luck with the garden.

Braved the scary world of the electricals shop. They've taken a couple of things for testing and have given me 13 euro for a smart pen which I took along on the off chance.
Work has dried up now for this week and next thanks to chicken pox and school holidays. Have asked electricals man what price he'd give for fancy headphones just in case.
Went to the big library and stocked up, then dragged dad out of his chair to go to the park. He is impressively stubborn so Tactics Were Deployed. Normally I give up but I was fuelled by Starbucks today so caffeine prevailed. What was left of it anyway after I sweated out of my coat in the electric shop.
In theory I will get enough to catch up the arrears on cc3. Hopefully.

Ask the physio to do the Beighton test for hypermobility. It takes about 3 minutes and a lot of us autistic people are also hypermobile. I've recently had a biomechanics appointment with a podiatrist who was waving my foot around (still on the end of my leg obviously 🤣 ) to demonstrate just how hypermobile I am.3
-
Ha. Glad your foot hasn't taken off 🤣🤣🤣
I'll add that test to my list. I think my joints are now all injured from all the exercise I used to do so they don't move the same way any more.
Interesting discovery recently, I think the tightness across my chest and ribs comes from trying to stop myself from falling over. I am now looking for proprioceptive solutions.

I wonder how many people (besides me) have just tried out the Beighton tests?
I don't think I'd pass as hypermobile on that test though I have an overbend on my elbow.
Hop your dad appreciated being Done Good To, @WelshmansDaughter!We have had lovely weather here today, a joy to be out there.

He actually did perk up a bit Cherry, there was a bit of sun here at one point too which he could actually feel. He was awake last night til after 11 and I wasn't starting that malarkey again.
If I was a rich girl though I'd be putting a motor on that bloody wheelchair my poor shoulder is knackered.

Oh, it's nice he got to feel the sun!
I've seen a motor added to a non-motorised chair: no idea of cost though, sorry. In that case it was operated by the person behind the chair so really it was very much for a situation like yours where the person in the chair needs someone with them.
You will have superb muscles. without having to go to the gym.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
