We don't have fines here at the moment thankfully. I do renew them online but they max out at 2 renewals

Ha I do like the idea of plug plants living in their bijou residences. I envision a tiny house situation for plant life 🤣

It was a work day today followed by an attempt at mystery shopping. I say attempt because all the jobs I booked had disappeared this morning and I could only book 2. And I only completed 1. I was going to do 2 but couldn't face it. So £12 added but £23 spent seeing as I did some food shopping while there. May have to park the mystery shopping until I'm less exhausted during the day

I did get hot chocolate, hopefully stop buying it while I'm out now.

Did 40 minutes of overtime today after a walking job. Feeling very stiff. Did have a nice chat with my neighbour on the way home, he has a very impressive potato crop. Spurred me on to look up what mine were- I took photos when I planted them but didn't write anything down. August is apparently when I can look forward to a harvest.

I've done a couple of bits and bobs from my brain dump list- this Sunday I will be letting my legs recover. A day where I don't have to go anywhere is very much needed.

One and a bit hours done for online job- found myself getting a bit ragey so had to stop. I haven't been paid yet for it so motivation is a weensy bit low.

I'm not really any further along in my future planning. I'm taking the appreciate what I have approach for now in the hope that my mood improves overall.

I still have a bag of potato plants that I put in to feed us over Christmas! It will be interesting to see what they turn out like.

It's commendable that you managed to stop when the online work was getting to you. There are some times when carrying on doesn't help, and it sounds as though you've been fully occupied without extra hassles.

I did try Christmas potatoes but it was when I had the allotment. Unfortunately they succumbed to the blight that was going around there. Apparently I have planted Red Duke of York and Maris Piper. If all thirty plants are successful I shall have enough potatoes to keep me going til Christmas 2027

    Breakfast potato… Lunch potato… Dinner potato…

I did go out last night to plant some radish seeds but was discouraged by the need to weed first. And the fact that it was 8.30 at night when I had been up since 4.30. Relatively good day with the boys yesterday although some bizarre weather. It was supposed to be 18 degrees but the wind was 13km/h. Not ideal for a day at the beach although eldest nephew did get his dinosaurs to swim in the sea.

I have woken up every day this week thinking it was Sunday. It was particularly brutal when I woke up on Monday thinking first it was Sunday then thinking if it couldn't be Sunday then at least it was Friday so I only had two days of working…

Oh dear, that does sound like a rude awakening.

Taking the dinosaurs for a swim… not often I read that. 😁 Nice activity, though.

Ha where else would a mosasaurus be?

I now know way too much about dinosaurs.

I've realised that there are two trains of thought in my head about leaving my current job. One is keeping it on as a secure source of income while developing other sources. The other is acknowledging that there is a threshold and at some stage I will reach the tipping point and just hand in my notice.

That makes four types of dinosaur names I've heard of. 😁

It sounds as though perhaps you need to reduce your hours and use the extra time to job hunt - I don't know what options are open in your present job but as you say, something will eventually give.
