Opened a gate to deliver a letter today and thought to myself that barking doesn't sound like it is coming from indoors… Have never run so fast in my life. On the bright side, my reflexes are still keen enough to have gotten me on the right side of the gate before two very territorial dogs.

Another thing to add to the Get the Fudge Out of this job list. The problem is my brain doesn't work that fast in day to day life. And definitely not in this heat. Have lost the last two days to my ovaries. It does feel like I am stuck in the mud.

I have to keep reminding myself that I have been doing things but it is all in bits and pieces.

You are doing brilliant things and improving your life all the time, and once you have less brain tiredness you will also smash getting a new job. Very impressed with your reflexes, especially with ovary meanness.

You're not stuck in the mud, get through period monster and heatwave and then assess what feels plausible, nothing is plausible when hot and hormonal x

I should say Pip it isn't actually that hot where I am. I'm on the coast so we generally always have a breeze. That being said it is hot when I'm working especially after I go into the old people blocks where they have the heating on 🤦‍♂️

Made the mistake of having fish and chips for dinner last night, it was underwhelming and have woken up sluggish.

Weeded two thirds of the potato rows feeling like I was in Jumanji. Next door have no way of cutting down their garden at the moment so it is at hip height. I did plant the remaining plug plants that have been sitting out there for an embarrassingly long time.

Highlight of yesterday's work day, the apartment block door that got stuck and the poor girl couldn't open it from the inside. She wound up throwing her key down to me, I turned it in the lock, she buzzed me in and I then kicked the door open.

Crikey, good job you were there to help!

Well done for planting your plug plants, I still have some to go and the slugs have found them… 🙁

I left mine in their garden centre trays just sitting on top of the ground Cherry and I found a snail on one of the empty cells 🤦‍♂️

6 plug plants are still sitting in their trays, my entire garden thinking has gone out the window. I have watered them as well as the rest of the garden and they seem to be holding up.

Just sitting outside the library waiting for it to open so I can return books. Well overdue as going to the library has become a bit of a chore now that there isn't one at the end of the road.

Booked mystery shop jobs to do today, bribing myself with hot chocolate. Had a piece of cake yesterday for the first time in about a month. Not enamoured. It was nephew's party and the cake was nice, I just wasn't in the mood. I did however have 4 hot chocolates yesterday 🤣

If you are making your hot chocolates with milk, I would say they are almost a complete food (a bit low in fibre, perhaps, but otherwise great). We will ignore sugar content because I'm sure I have more sugar than you do so I can't comment, and what's more, you burn it off, which I don't. So I hope you find some really nice hot chocolate while mystery shopping. It sounds like good use of a day off to me.

It's amazing how well plug plants can last in their little trays if kept watered. Don't ask me how I know. I could give a long list if only I'd kept track, but of course I didn't, which is why the poor things remained in their bijou residences for months on end. However, I now have a large pot of yellow wallflowers which eventually got out of their baby pots and have rewarded me by flowering in season and out of season, and are into their second year, so there is probably a good chance yours will wait till your mojo comes back.
