That all sounds very sensible and well thought-through. Well done for keeping all the plates spinning for long enough to pay extra debt repayments, and well done for working out your affordability test, and recognising when you couldn't sustain that amount of work anymore- I don't think most people could have hacked two intensive jobs for as long as you have!
Lovely to see you back here 😊

Well I didn’t win 182 million on the euro millions so it’s back to work this morning 🤦😜
Early start for a blood test- managed to forget an appointment last week so took whatever they could give me to get it over with.
Was way ahead of you on the holiday at home PiP u til I remembered Sister Act is on mat leave so won’t have the house to myself. Sigh.
The train just went by while I was waiting at the bus stop and I did think maybe a day out on the train? But I have been having trouble going anywhere by myself lately so I’m not sure.

Might as well get on it and see how you feel, if you only go one stop at least it'll be a change of scenery

Well done on deciding to stay with your postie job and enjoy your trip next week
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Tonight marks the last night of holiday, sigh. It has been lovely and perhaps better appreciated that holidays have been in the past. I am not too sad to go back to work mostly because I have done little but eat junk this last week and I need to work it off.
I had a wee meltdown last week which snapped the chains holding me back money and food wise so I have spent a bit this holiday week. I don’t think I can call it over spending as I have actually put all my desired amounts into the relevant accounts.
I did go on a day out by train to somewhere close and familiar. And that was fun.
