Put it the other way around: your driving skills saved the company's vehicle and you kept your head in difficult conditions.  :)

Do you need any help with that cheesecake?

    Happy new year!

  • I’m sorry WD, it’s horrible being sick and horrible having to look after yourself when sick, especially when you spend so much time looking after other people. Do your best to stay hydrated and warm, there’s some really nasty things going around at the moment 😫

I'm sorry you're poorly. Can you take anything for it? I have omeprazole on prescription and there are probably other things too, which I try to balance with not too much of the nice things that set it off.

It might be wise to take tomorrow off as well as you've been sick a few days. A hard day's work will feel much more on top of a few days in bed, and I assume you get Sunday off, so a couple of recuperative days should help you feel better for next week.

It's a nice feeling having the bills paid. :)

I'm glad you're back on your feet and have heat. The minimum payment isn't so nice though. Could you work out a reasonable amount and tell them that's what you can afford? After all it's better from their point of view if they get it slowly than not at all. Well done on paying off arrears of course! That's am achievement.

For food and drink at work, could you combine the two in a smoothie, yogurt drink or hot chocolate? If you make it a milky drink you are getting some calories as well as fluid. Also take fruit - either something easy like satsumas or chop up fruit and take a tub of it with you. And there's always the good old flask of soup.

Well done on paying off arrears!
Fingers crossed for you that they offer a sensible payment plan now.

Places like aldo and £land do reasonably priced large bags of dried fruit/nuts, might be good for snacking throughout the day
