The small people are in bed and Christmas is officially over. 

I’m a bit deer in headlights about it all. I used to spend Christmas in a corner reading. It was always a break for me. And my strongest Christmas memories are all Dad related. 

Small People Christmas is very in your face.

On a positive note, I managed to eat a pitta bread with spinach and chicken. That is probably the best that can be said about a day spent driving around in circles. A record number of flats with no flat address, people not home with nowhere to leave anything and shoddy parking. One person did have a parcel bin, they are now my favourite. Chances are, I will never deliver anything to them ever again.

Nothing meaningful is happening this evening, I seem to be torn between falling asleep and a brain that is still mentally jumping in and out of a van.
I do have a pre assessment call booked next week for an nhs diagnosis. I’m not really sure why im bothering other than as a preventative measure for potential future issues. 

This afternoon had been intended for a flat visit but it got dark by the time I finished work and with all the wrangling I just wanted to get the bus.
Tomorrow is another day.

I was meant to get a parcel today that I had specifically ordered for today as a nice thing for me and Mr PIP, and especially a nice surprise for Mr PIP, for our Christmas weekend together. Has it arrived? Has it heck!

Well done for booking and keeping the appt, that is very productive and brave, and will hopefully give you options you can't foresee in the future

Lol we’re so conscientious in this depot they sent me out with a box of flowers that we’d tried to deliver on xmas eve just in case they’d made a mistake refusing it. Nothing says christmas like a box of dead flowers.
I’ve also been sent to deliver a box of cheese just because a customer asked her local postie about it.

I have a feeling this is one of those jobs that's full of interesting tales! There's nowt as queer as folks, as they say - and I bet posties see a side of people's lives that the rest of us miss.
