Sat - Turkey meatballs in peri-peri sauce
Sun - l/o meatballs
Mon - Veg frittata & salad
Tues - l/o frittata
Wed - Chicken & pea risotto
Thurs - Sausage, beans & chips

Just one change to last week's meal plan - Thursday's lamb curry and rice changed to butter chicken, jacket potato and broccoli - and I did make two lots of soup after all. Tomato & red pepper (two portions in the freezer and two eaten) and there's two portions of minestrone type in the fridge. All the veg has been used up, barring a small swede that will be eaten this week, so I can start afresh.
This week's plan:
Sat (today) - Microwave savoury pots (diced corned beef, left over diced cooked potato and chopped onion mixed together then topped with grated cheese and tomato slices) with crusty bread
Sun - Gammon (joint currently in the SC), new potatoes, peas, swede
Mon - Chilli (from freezer), jacket potatoes, swede
Tue - Egg & chips, maybe with curry sauce or perhaps baked beans
Wed - Chicken stir fry, noodles
Thu - Pasty, mash, steamed cabbage
Fri - Fish, chips, peas
I've made a list for my next grocery delivery and am trying to keep it to a minimum cost. It isn't a particularly long list but no doubt some items will be crossed off! No baking needed as there's quite a few bits and bobs in the freezer to use up.Be kind to others and to yourself too.6 -

Already have to change my plan. I made crème mousseline (badly) for a cake when friends came to tea so have been left with egg whites that need to be used up. I think I’ll turn them into a cheese soufflé to have with salad.
