Made way to much Mac & cheese on Mon and had the leftovers on Tues so the turkey mince survived the week again.
I’m going to be busy decorating over the next few days so I will be using up freezer stock/easily cooked or pinged stuff.
Thurs - Chicken curry, rice
Fri - Salmon, new pots & veg
Sat - Jerk turkey steak, cabbage and apple slaw
Sun - Scampi & oven chips
Mon - Falafel, pitta, salad & sauce
Tues - Beef olive, potatoes & veg
Wed - Sweetcorn fritters, gammon topped with a poached egg

When I went to get the fish out of the freezer I found burgers that must have been in there since before the dinosaurs, so hiked them out instead. The fish curry will therefore reappear on this week’s menu.
wild garlic pesto pasta, raspberries, blueberries and kefir x2
half a poussin, sweet potato wedges, asparagus and sweetcorn, apricot crumble and custard
Melon, the other half of the poussin, new potatoes, spinach and green beans
fish curry, spinach, spicy green beans, naan, stewed apricots and kefir x 2
cheesy leek and bacon pasta, pineapple and kefir

All went to plan last week, I hope this week is the same.
Sat (today) - Soup (from freezer), sandwich
Sun - Cooked lamb slices (from freezer), mash, veg
Mon - Steak slices (ys, from freezer), mash, veg
Tue - Sausages in onion gravy, mash, veg
Wed - Fish bites, chips, peas
Thu - Lamb curry (from freezer), rice
Fri - Cod fillets
We seem to have a lot of veg in the fridge so we'll have whatever we fancy on the day rather than be specific! I have a gammon joint to cook sometime this week and I could do with making some soup as well - it's certainly chilly enough to warrant it. I'm planning on tomato & red pepper but it could be a minestrone as there's some chicken stock in the freezer. Maybe I'll do both.Be kind to others and to yourself too.6 -
Just back from holiday so have only bought absolute basics plus picked up a TGTG bag from Morries on the way home last night at the moment as haven't done a full meal plan yet! So far:
S - Fakeaway KFC, chips, corn on the cob, baked beans
S - roast leg of lamb, roast potatoes, roasted peppers, onions and carrots, broccoli, green beans (all veg from the TGTG bag)
M - sliced lamb, boiled potatoes, LO roasted veg
Will need to sort out meals for the rest of the week and go shopping on Tuesday.
Edited: Have been through the freezer to check what's in there and have now completed the menu plan and shopping list for Tuesday. Meals for the rest of the week after shopping:
T - Hunters chicken, Boulanger potatoes
W - shepherds pie, veg (hopefully they'll be enough LO lamb otherwise it will be mince)
T - chicken quarters (bought back from our holiday and frozen); mash, veg
F - Fish pie
S - Keema curry, rice

Change of plan already! The meat wasn't cooked enough around the bone so has been moved from the bone and turned into a lamb dhansak which we'll have with rice. Tomorrow's dinner will have to be a cottage pie as not enough meat for another meal!5
