No changes to last week's meal plan, although I didn't make the leek & potato soup - I can do that this week.
Today (Sat) - Beef jalfrezi with naans followed by caramel custard cups
Sun - Roast pork slices in gravy (from freezer), sweetheart cabbage, mash, mini Yorkies
Mon - Salad with gammon slices (from freezer)
Tue - Turkey burgers, chips, baked beans (don't think I'll buy the burgers again - they're a bit "chewy")
Wed - Chicken stir fry with noodles
Thu - Pork steaks in BBQ sauce, jacket potatoes, cabbage
Fri - Cod cakes, peas & sweetcorn, hash browns
No baking this week but I'll be doing a SC rice pudding to use up half a large tin of evaporated milk.Be kind to others and to yourself too.6 -
Stuck to the meal plan last week, but forgot to post it on here. I’m a bit late for this week too but here goes!
Fri - liver, onions mash and spring greens
Sat - jacket potato, baked beans and cheese
today - got a lamb joint in the slow cooker, roast carrots and parsnips, green beans and new potatoes
Mon - HM lasagne and salad
Tue - chicken kung po and egg fried rice
wed - fish pie and veg

M - Carbonara
T - Pancakes
W - Chicken Gyros
T - Stir Fry
F - Jacket Potato with Chilli con carne
S - Snacky bits as I'm hosting book club

Soup of the week - tbc depending on what veg I can get
F- freezer rake/takeaway
S - Sticky chicken wings, corn, coleslaw, baked spuds
S - Black pudding stuffed pork loin, peppercorn sauce, veg and baby spuds
M - Pasta bol bake
T - Salmon in a bag, sweet potato wedges
W- Chicken, pea and rice traybake
T- Sausage, beans, mushrooms and oven chips.

No soup this week, decided to make hummus instead.

pasta puttanesca, fruit salad, kefir x2
slow cooker one pot ox cheek stew x2, stewed plums, kefir

Really struggled for inspiration this week but finally sorted.
Spicy parsnip soup this week 😋
Sat - sausage, mash, carrots and broccoli
Sun - Chinese chicken traybake, rice, sugar snap peas
Mon - pasta puttanesca, broccoli
Tues - fishfinger sandwich
Wed - tuna steak, Mediterranean lentils, spinach
Thurs - chorizo and halloumi traybake, rocket salad
Fri - scampi, chips and peas
Need to go to the farm shop and Lidl for a stock up today.4 -

S - LO cottage pie, green veg
S - chicken breast tray bake
M - beef stew (from freezer), mash, cabbage
T - chickpea and veg curry (from freezer), rice
Need to check the freezer for after that as not done my March menu plan yet!

W - butternut squash and sweet potato tagine (from freezer), couscous
T - spag bol
F - Garlic, mushroom and balsamic chicken, potatoes

Sat (today) - hm chunky vegetable soup (to use up some chicken stock in the fridge), ham & mustard sandwich
Sun - Beef stew, mash, cabbage
Mon - Salad (yes, I have some lettuce and tomatoes left!)
Tue - Beef & mushroom stir fry, noodles
Wed - Scampi & chips
Thu - Cornish pasty, mash, swede

Change to the plan already! DH decided he didn't fancy a chicken traybake today so we're having butter chicken and rice! Chicken marinading, passata and grated butternut squash defrosting on the side ready for cooking later!
