Done really well this week and stuck to six out of seven meals. So, one has rolled forward.
Working through leftovers and stray freezer bits still. Subject to change if I realise something needs using up or I have more leftovers.
Tonight I used up homemade coleslaw with potato, a scrappy bit of vegan cheese, topped with salad.

Pretty much according to plan, though I didn’t take the spanakopita out of the freezer and I have a portion of lentil curry still to use. The no spend turned onto a low spend as I ran out of a few essential bits and pieces.
This week is a sort of low spend, since I have some supermarket vouchers to use. Still have loads of stuff in the freezer and cupboards and making a determined effort to use what I’ve got rather than buy more. I did buy sardines despite having some in the freezer, but that’s a sort of experiment to find out whether the local supermarket sardines (need gutting) work out cheaper than Marks (gutted and de-headed, twice the price).
sardines, spinach, peas and broccoli, canned peaches and kefir
roast breast of lamb, roast potatoes, corn on the cob, shallots, blueberry clafoutis, kefir
ditto
lentil curry, spinach, rice, canned peaches, kefir
spanakopita, tomato salad, left over clafoutis
pissaladiere, tomato salad, fruit salad
mackerel, spinach, green beans, fruit salad

All organised again this week and my stock up at Lidl last week meant my sainsbugs shop this afternoon was fairly small, do need to go to the farm shop tomorrow for decent eggs and chicken 🐓

Sun - roast chicken, roast potatoes, swede/carrot mash, Savoy cabbage
Mon - chicken and chorizo jambalaya
