Well, I don't know whether I foreshadowed it or conjured up by the force of The Secret; but the food Gods blessed me today.
I got a TGTG box from Aldi ( first since the one with tons of crispy potatoes) and it was the best one in ages
Veg - 2kg app. red potatoes, cauli, spring onions, 2kg baby new potatoes, 2x asparagus, green beans.
Fruit - strawberries, raspberries, banana, kiwis, easy peelers, blackberries, lemons x 2
Other- Meat x 2 (frozen it - will give to daughter), loaf of bread and some custard tarts (gifted to a lady who was packing her shopping next to me)
I might have forgotten something 🤔
Gonna be busy prepping tomorrow ....
Here's my meal ideas:
There's a salad in there because I have bulgar wheat and pomegranite, but may decide to make molasses.
Fatoush salad with pomegranate

Sausage', mash and veg 🥦 🥕🥔
Harissa, coconut lentils with kale and sweet potato 🌶️ 🥥🥬🍠

Stew and dumplings 🍲✅
Cauliflower Jalfrezi 🍛
Buddha bowl 🥗Deconstructed Manti ( Anna Paul's Mum's pasta) 📱🇹🇷 ✅
Bar some coconut milk and a few other bits. I've got enough meals planned there and on the previous post, to probably stretch until Christmas.
So, I probably won't post again now til after then.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £76.30/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. So, ive had a freezer and fridge full, but I'm starting to see the gaps now the Christmas stuff is ate, visitors have been and I've gifted some bits. I'm hoping I can get another one tomorrow (NYE one); as the last one didn't become available until the morning of the day.
Edited as got a NYE box, but forgot to collect other ingredients whilst I was there. So need to tweak some meals !

I've had Haluski tonight which wasn't on the menu, but needed to try and use up some cabbage.
Tomorrow, will be the jacket potato or hamburger helper
So, going forward I should have one leftover meal from this week. For the rest of the week, meal plan as follows, dependant on if I don't run out of anything.
Burger and chips with corn on the cob (or corn)🍔🌽🍿✅
Egg roll in a bowl ( using shredded tofu from freezer) 🍜 ✅
Savoury mince and mashed potatoes 🥔 ✅
Mushroom Jalfrezi 🍄 ✅
Something else with Tofu maybe 🤔 ✅
Taco soup and cheese toastie 🌮 🍞
Deconstructed Manti 🍝✅

So I've stuck to plan all week, and some meals have rolled forward again
Monday was Jackfruit and spicy peanut sauce with rice 🍚🥜
Tuesday was a roast dinner 🍽️
Tonight Jackfruit Katsu noodles 🍜
Taco soup 🌮 and Jacket potato have rolled forward 🥔; but I need stock and celery, so mightn't be able to do the soup. I could make my own veggie stock, and add a bit of yeast extract maybe 🤔
I've not got much left in, so will have to either go the shop for a few bits or improvise.
In the freezer there are components of meals but no full meals. The rest is vegan burgers x 3, some vegan hot dogs, pizza base and my gd's chicken nuggets. Lots of beans and legumes, pasta and rice etc in the cupboards, and baking stuff and some tins. Not really anything that goes together or repetitive components.
So it'll be burger 🍔, hot dog 🌭, pizza 🍕, and possibly Tagine 🥒. My DD and DGD are here at the weekend, and should eat those things also (except Tagine) aswell as the chicken nuggets 🍗.
I'll be back next week, hopefully with another plan.
It'll either be a tighter plan or I'll have bought a few bits.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £76.30/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month.
